Cop out. Didn’t expect anything different.

Rofl, what in his history matters given that he kneed in the guy’s fricking neck until he died

So you don’t find it interesting that he has a slew of complaints against him.

Just because he's a felon doesn't mean he deserved a knee in the neck for 8 minutes before dying. What's astounding is the lack of common sense and humanity. These arguments are idiotic in that they seem to bring some sort of justification to people.

What it looks like to me is doing exactly what the media's doing, just at the far end of the spectrum. On the media end he's a "saint". On the other, he deserved to die.

Both are quite repugnant in my mind.

Let's flip it around.

Does the media need to pretend this guy was turning his life around in order to make what the cop did bad?

That is exactly my point. Read the post. Not sure why you all are dignifying the media's irrelevant narrative by responding to it in the worst possible way.

The media doesn't need to portray him as an angel. Y'all don't need to portray him as a felon. Both are irrelevant. There is no justification for George Floyd's murder.

Correct.

It is instructive, however, that almost every single affirmative action saint in the Black Lives Matter PR campaign is actually a habitual criminal. There’s probably some lessons to be learned there. Not that anyone is really paying attention.

Chauvin did the world a favor really.

No. He did the opposite of a favor. By responding (at the very best) to George Floyd with callous indifference, he gave space to the liars and propagandists on the left and their narrative. His 8 minutes of (in)action have horrifically impacted our country.

My 88 year old mom was raped and beat up and left to die tied up in her closet by a black guy back in October.

He pleaded to aggravated assault because my mom didn't go to the hospital for a rape test and she didn't want to testify.

When he gets out, I'd be ok with a cop using excess force on him.

I wonder what all George Floyd really did to his victims. I wonder how they are feeling.

Why’d he change his name? Has that been discussed?

Yeah. The Minneapolis Star Tribune casually dropped into his eulogy that he “also went by Perry Floyd.”

It might been an attempt to keep his criminal history under wraps.

I’m being charitable.

Wouldn’t it be weird for the family? Does the Crump team come in and say “Ok guys. Here’s the deal. We’re going to call him George Floyd.”

I can assume what you mean to say but that cop still completely was wrong in what he did by not using common sense. He killed that guy. However, I don't want to dismiss the cops actions bc of Floyd's rap sheet. Floyd was a bad boy according to the rap sheetssss.

I'd be willing to bet that the officer who kept his knee on the guy's neck for 2 minutes after he was nonresponsive didn't know about the Texas rap sheet, even if it is real.
