It was the dog. They shouldn’t have switched the kibble.

Well that is indeed a plot twist!

His wife was only 64. I figure it will be Carbon Monoxide since the dog was also dead. They had been married for over 40 years which in Hollywood is very unusual.

She got married at 24 to a 55 year old amd it lasted?

Damn.i didn't know that.

carbon monoxide is the leading contender

As someone who recently almost died from carbon monoxide poisoning, I agree. Even when my son came home from hours later and told me the gas stove had been slightly on since I made breakfast, I just woke up long enough to say OK then went back to sleep.

The dog turned on the gas in a murder murder suicide, lifetime movie about it upcoming. Dog was probably Mossad since they are responsible for everything bad that happens

My father's age/

My father wasn't surrounded by nutcases so he'll last a lot longer.

Still, I loved him in Hunt for Red October.

If it was CO, it could have been a leak, accidental, homicide or suicide.

I assume it was some sort of suicide. Wasn't dude approaching 100 years?

I originally thought maybe his wife had just recently received a terminal diagnosis and they both decided to have a suicide pact. People include their pets with their suicide frequently too.

Carbon monoxide is possible but seems like so many people have redundant detectors in their houses these days.

Maybe they were awaiting the Hale Bopp comet, and killed themselves like Herff Applewhite said to do. Heavens Gate?

I could be wrong but the effects from carbon monoxide are usually readily evident. Authorities may be holding off until all notifications, etc. have been made.
