If you’re seriously going to argue against the merits of natural and traditional nuclear families that have existed for hundred of years (which are likely the cornerstone of western civilization’s prosperity), I’m sure you’ll find similar company on Reddit, Blue Sky or Democratic Underground.
Society needs normalcy and structure to thrive. Even the blacks did better when their heterosexual families were together.

I'm not arguing against anything of the sort. And I see you completely ignored the situation I referenced. I just pointed out a gay couple that seems very stable and loving to their kids. And you wanted to bash it. Were you molested by a man when you were a child? Do you secretly have sexual attractions to men?

They seem perfectly happy. The kids are 4 and 5. They are constantly doing activities with them. Outdoor things mostly. The younger partner, he's very Outdoor-sy. This isn't entirely on point but my wife was a CASA advocate for awhile working with kids in foster care. A gay couple may not be ideal, especially for very small children, but there are a lot of teenagers out there that nobody wants. A 13-17 year old girl who has had sex with every man who has ever passed through her life is pretty fricking toxic to your middle-class, white picket fence life. A functional gay couple who you know have no sexual interest in her, even when she inevitably comes on to them, might be the best place for her. Or so my wife concluded.
She eventually gave it up because her temperament was entirely wrong for the gig. My little redheaded NELA devil wanted to fight everybody.

I think many suburban and rural moms went big into the anti-trans propaganda and liked the MAHA approach that Trump leaned into. It's not perfect, but I think we are trending correctly.
Romney got 44% of women in 2012 and Trump got the same percentage in 2020. 2016 was an outlier year where a lot of women didn’t vote for Trump. There’s no trend of women shifting towards Republicans.
