You expect them to come out say hell yes we did it?
You really aren't that crazy are you?

The WH has apologized. Geez, what a clown show.

WTF? I thought Trump never appologized? Shows weakness, or in this case admittance of idiocy.

Keywords: Asked and wiretapping.
Does anyone think Obama called GCHQ and "asked" them to go over to Trump tower and splice wires? Nope, as the Judge explained they don't have to do that because they share the fricking NSA database with NSA. All they have to do is type some shite into a computer and they come out with any and all comms the NSA has stored in Utah.

think about this...
this is how cowardly and pathetic our president is.
He is such a narcissistic POS he cant even bring himself to just admit the truth such that he actually causes and international diplomatic incident requiring a response from a foreign government over now being called duplicitous in an non existent conspiracy to commit a crime.
Thanks Trumpkins, your stupidity/gullibilty is amazing.

Sort of like the press and Hillary Clinton caused a massive scandal all because they invented a fake Russia narrative. Now people are probably going to jail (like the Flynn leaker in Obama's administration).
I haven't seen anyone in the press apologize for "Muh Russians" even though James Clapper himself said it was all bullshite.

You are attempting to Trumpsplain the story.
We are talking about the GCHQ statement, not Spicer's.
GCHQ denied something in which it was in no way, shape or form accused of.
That denial was prepared and vetted. It was a very odd statement.

I'm still trying to find the words of the WH that read, Britain wire tapped anything really.

They really had no choice but to Mandy Rice Davies a response.

This was from the earlier thread:
quote:
GCHQ's response to the Napolitano story was oddly off-point.
Napolitano asserts that the NSA captured data, correspondence, and conversations throughout the campaign as part of its routine surveillance dragnet. As pertains to Trump, this material could not be accessed by the US IC without a warrant. However according to Napolitano, the Brits had free access to the same data. All of it. They could have pulled Trump data, and then provided it to US authorities without any US 'fingerprints" or warrant needed.
As far as I can tell, GCHQ does not deny any of that in anyway. They instead deny something which no one is accusing them of. Instead of denying accessing Trump records through the NSA, they deny 'wiretapping' Trump.
May be nothing to this at all. But it seems strange nonetheless.
I'm just as confused as to what benefit Obama would have derived from any of this. Could he have used data obtained that way?
I guess with someone as corrupt as Lynch running the DOJ, maybe he could have.
Here are the Napolitano and GCHQ statements:quote:
Napolitano:
"Three intelligence sources have informed Fox News that President Obama went outside the chain of command," Napolitano said. "He didn't use the NSA, he didn't use the CIA, he didn't use the FBI, and he didn't use the Department of Justice."
Instead, Napolitano said, Obama used GCHQ, a British intelligence and security organization that has 24-7 access to the NSA database.
"There's no American fingerprints on this,"

GCHQ:
"Recent allegations made by media commentator Judge Andrew Napolitano about GCHQ being asked to conduct 'wire tapping' against the then President-elect are nonsense. They are utterly ridiculous and should be ignored," the spokesperson told CNBC.
