You can’t really blame Biden. He didn’t know his own name most of the time You have to really look hard at the Kenyon and blame this mess on his 12 years in office

Woah. That’s interesting as fuq. I just read where in 1971 the average was 36 cents. Wanna know what’s relevant about 1971? Nothing. Anyhow, what’s so interesting is how it seems to steadily get more expensive as time goes by, with sharper price fluctuations within compact timeframes for a given geopolitical, geological event, could be a pretty vast array of “triggers” or perhaps combinations thereof, that could cause such.

Back to anyhow, that’s interesting ain’t it??

It was higher than that under Biden. With inflation, it could be $6.45 and still be less than Biden.

Didn’t gas prices get to around 4 dollars in 2008 because of Hurricane Gustav and Ike, and then crashed because the economy when in the dumper and gas fell to about 1.50 in December. 4 dollars in 2008 is 6.22 today.

I know economics and geopolitics are totally different. Europe is shooting themselves in the foot with the quagmire in Ukraine as Ukraine attacks Russian oil facilities with drones.

Our love hate relationship with Israel and attacking Iran, with Iran closing off the Strait of Hormuz, leading to increased pressure on other avenues of oil deliveries as the Middle East begins to boil in conflict to support the Iranian government and supporters of Iran attack oil export facilities across the region.

While all this is going on, all that is doing is increasing our valuable oil reserves in the states and is allowing to fill in the world’s supply by exporting our diesel.

What I don’t see is an increase in the amount of drilling domestically. Not sure if oil companies are spooked if they want to drill faster and risk bankruptcy if the price of oil crashes.

California also cut off some of its own supplies by reducing the available refining capacity with idiotic regulations, and some smaller refineries shut down because they couldn’t make it profitable with 2 dollar gas.

Lastly, isn’t it about this time some refineries have to go offline to switch to that winter blend gasoline and ramp up production of heating oil so people don’t freeze.

So Ole Scopper is pulling for Socialism. You will probably have some smart comeback, but this is exactly what is coming if there were a Blue Wave.

$4.30 here in Florida. I paid $4.25 but that was with a 5 cent off using an app. This is going to crush Republicans in the midterms.
