Just checking. Wouldn’t want anyone falsely claiming to be a member of the bar.

Sounds like he wanted to make sure you knew what you were talking about and we also know in this day and age many definitions have been altered and/or changed. We also know there is a large number of biased partisan judges, even at the supreme court level.
I like your attempt at an appeal to authority (haha even the judged laughed and they are the most powerful).

To be fair, I would make you define it were I in those shoes.
Misogynist, as with almost every ist or ism word out there is grossly overused and horribly defined by most who use it

It was actually funny.
The other lawyer was arguing that my client (the mother, who had primary possession) should not have been allowing her “little girl” to learn to fire a rifle, with the implication that it would be OK for a little boy.
I jokingly asked the (female) judge whether misogyny would constitute a proper legal objection. The other lawyer needed a definition in order to respond. He literally had no idea as to the meaning of the word

Sure you’re only 130 IQ? I would have guessed you were 200 by that crushing remark.

This thread is funny. I mean. OK. Obviously, in the grand scheme of IQs it's unlikely that Stacey Abrams is in the bottom half.
But here's the reality. Most of us who reside comfortably in the upper half don't even really consider the people hovering at 80 or 90 when we think of smart versus stupid
The reality is that most of the people I meet that are hovering around 105 are people I would consider objectively dumb.
People who are sub 100 tend to concentrate themselves into communities completely isolated from my daily life.
So. It's likely that the dumbest people I deal with in any given month in a regular basis are all over 100. Hence. I'm perfectly content to call Abrams dumb with one caveat given her prior education.
Someone in this thread said she's obviously dumb if she believes the things she says. It's quite likely that the word believes in that sentence is important. It's quite likely that she knows she's appealing to complete imbeciles and therefore pretends to be one

How do ignorant disgusting people end up in power?
Posted on 1/1/20 at 9:58 am to ShortyRob
Shorty, that is a reasonable analysis. The comparison can be either absolute or relative.
The simple fact is that I consider anyone with an IQ below 105 (average college admission and above-average for the population) to be so stupid as to be almost another species. I do not consider someone bright enough to engage in substantive conversation until about 125 or 130, which objectively is the 95th to 98th percentile.
Objectively, I do realize this to be a bit unfair. Someone with an IQ of 125 is really fairly bright in the grand scheme. Someone with a GED probably considers that person to be a near-genius. Hell, someone with 125 probably tutored half the posters on this forum in the classes they were failing.

Stacy Abrams is to smart Ivy League graduates as Lt Col Vindman is to badass military heroes.

But it is a shame that you wasted that super intellect going into law. And just a bit arrogant.

Truth, Muh mail in ballots
They dont have to mail them in any more. With ballot harvesting the dems can go around door to door pick them up and turn them in for you.
