I attended a top 10 law school (Univ of Texas). Probably 10 to 20% of the students in my class (of 500) had undergraduate degrees from the ivy league. When I graduated from law school, I went to work for one of the top law firms in the state of Texas. Probably 25% of my starting class (27 lawyers) at my firm had either undergraduate or law degrees from the ivy league. That excludes lawyers older or younger than me .... AND my friends at other firms.
I earned a mint in the big city, then moved home to live on my family ranch. I hung out a small city shingle, and… Yes… A lot of my current practice is family law.
It truly is amazing how stupid you are. I often find myself wondering who ties your shoes for you in the mornings.

The woman graduated from undergrad magna cum laude, which is significantly-better than 90% the posters on this forum. She was also admitted to both the LBJ School and Yale Law .. and obtained degrees from both. Even if we assume that she was the beneficiary of affirmative action admission (not an unreasonable assumption), I have no doubt that her raw intelligence is somewhat above average as compared BOTH to the population as a whole AND to the denizens of this forum.

I work with engineers on a daily basis that do some of the dumbest shite you can imagine, often destroying valuable equipment in the process. I know guys who barely got out of high school who are multimillionaires.

I agree to some extent. I know practicing lawyers that I think are functionally retarded.
I used the word misogynist in court once, and I had to define it for the other lawyer. The judge actually did laugh out loud.
