Kemp would destroy Ossoff. Sometimes you have to dance with the Devil.

"ClubforGrowth" = GOPe. You would think they would make the polls slightly believable

Kemp would probably vote as needed in the Senate. Bitch RINO or not they pretty much all toe the line.

There is a 12 point swing from Kemp to Collins and Collins was a pretty popular Representative for GA.

Ossoff kicks everyone’s arse in this poll except for Kemp. This poll is fishy.

Kemp would vote the right way exponentially more than Ossoff.

It's another senate seat. It's not like he's Murkowski.

Who is Oss? And why is Kemp giving him an old fashioned?

Even if it's Kemp, winning that race would be big and go a long way to stemming the Georgia is a blue state narrative after the Dems won so many federal statewide races in a row. It would be a Trump win and a GOP senate win in back to back elections. Then you have a lot of momentum to go after the fake preacher in the next election.

I almost want Georgia to nominate Ratfricker just to see him get his arse beat.

It's politics - go with the guy that will win and vote as needed 90% of the time. That's Kemp.

I know we hate Kemp for the 2020 debacle but if you want to pretend that Kemp isn’t >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Ossof, you need to come back to reality. He’ll be a reliable vote 90+% of the time. Every + margin in the senate is precious gold, even if doesn’t pass the 24ct MAGA purity test.

People won't like this, but our best chance is to clear the field for Kemp. I'm not one of these "he's earned it, nobody else run!" types. It's not a moral choice, it's a strategic one.

Kemp being bloodied by some less viable candidates is how the system is set up to work, but wouldn't serve the interests of knocking Ossoff out. And Kemp seems very capable if not likely of doing that.

I want desperately to get GA back to being at least a consistent lean red state, and getting Ossoff out is a big step there.

As to the polling, I like Mike but none of those guys are heavy hitters or dynamic candidates. There are almost certainly people out there who could do better than those numbers against Ossoff with the proper backing, but the GA delegation/current slate is a pretty bland field.

Anyone that doesn't think that Kemp running for Ossoff's seat is the best option just is not living in the real world. He is the best hope to pull that seat back to the Republicans, and the GOP just can't gamble with anyone else because regaining the GA seat is just too important. And Kemp would definitely not be the worst GOP Senator, and would probably fall somewhere in the top half of the GOP Senators when it comes to actually voting. Not top 10 by any means, but definitely better than half of them.

In all honesty, I think Kemp would be a pretty MAGA senator. I don't think he'd engage in a lot of theatrics, but I think he'd be pretty reliable for Trump or whoever comes next.

I'd expect him to be a Tuberville-light, which would be pretty useful.

I just find it hard to believe that about 10% of Kemps voters will switch to Ossoff if Kemp is not running.

I don't believe that Tuberville is in the former McConnell and now Thune rotation when the establishment needs votes. For example Kennedy is in that rotation. He votes pretty MAGA most of the time but when McConnell and establishment Republicans need help he steps up for them. I can see Kemp in that rotation. I don't believe Tuberville is in that rotation...is hat why you are saying Tuberville-light?
