The flight paperwork is floating around X, along with a screen shot of the FAA database. Not posting it here & would request others don’t either, but it can be found

Y’all thought this was cool and now act pissed because a chick pulled it off in real life -

Thank you for not being a complete gaping pussy like Tuscaloosa.

That's technically a new pilot, for the airlines.

Amelia was a very very good pilot.
Maybe her navigator let her down on her last flight. I think the winds drastically changed or the Nav just blew it.

As much shite as we give Aggie Hank, he was correct about how this young lady accumulated her hours to be eligible to fly comercial airlines.

Not really. For a regional airline pilot she was brand new.

No idea, but Tuscaloosa did not assert that she was a pilot with limited experience in this particular aircraft. He asserted that she was a "new pilot."
I seriously want to know why a grown arse man starts this thread, tells us about this information he saw on Twitter, but doesn't post it here himself and then urges others not to post it either.
Wtf. That's the behaviour of a bossy 12 year old girl who is made hall monitor by the teacher

Why isn't everyone talking about how hard the plane hit the runway on landing

Are you going to cry all day?

I’ve never heard of this publication FYI
It’s claiming the pilot was Kendal Swanson, 26 years old. Or rather it’s claiming that there’s speculation only that it is her.

Either she’s older than she looks, has flown an awful lot for someone that age.
OR she wasn’t flying the plane? Why do you assume every rumor posted on Twitter is true? Correcting the misinformation posted here from Twitter is a full time job and no one actually cares because y’all want to believe these antiquated takes that white men are superior to every other living creature and are the only ones capable of anything, DESPITE our country being in the shitter after only being ruled by men ever.
Make it make sense.

So true. I have known some women that were outstanding at some really tough jobs. This DEI crap puts other women right next to them that did not earn it, terrible for all involved.

I saw on OAN a pilot with 20 years Air Force then 20 years delta airlines describe what he saw
Coming in fast , alluded to strong winds being a possible legit reason for that.
Did not “Flare” the jet right before touching down. He said that right before first wheel touches the pilot is supposed to go nose up, it slows the plane and makes the contact softer. He said if he was there and pilot did not “flare: he would have grabbed the yoke and pulled up.
He said it looked like an aircraft carrier landing where they hit harder and rely on hooking the cable to slow the jet…
