Comedy has always been a tool for the underdog. Is the left still going to be able to reign supreme over the comedy industry, despite all their enemies and boogeymen vanquished? Joe Rogan is making a push for Austin, TX to be the new hub for standup. It's been about 15 years since Hollywood, SNL, or Late night made anything funny that I was able to laugh at.

The real comedy will be seeing what these shills try and reach for now that their sole source of material is no more.

The nutjobs don't understand humor, that's a tell.

I mean we all know China is known for its comedy.

Comedy is dead. It's been dead. You can't have comedy when it has to be fed through a biased, socially approved filter. It's like having a game of baseball without the ball. It makes no sense.

Comedians will go broke now that TRUMP is gone....they certainly will be kind to sleepy and the slut.

These people weren’t making fun of Trump, they were mocking Trump’s supporters. They aren’t stopping anytime soon. It’s also the only legal comedy. Because there’s not a leftist breathing air that has a sense of humor about himself.

Political Correctness and Cancel Culture killed comedy.

Yep. White comedians can’t talk about anything without the very real possibility of being cancelled. While black comedians make careers out of pointing out the differences between black and wypipo.

Correction: white ones can dog on Trump with impunity. That’s ok.

Thanks for making my point. Chappelle was hilarious 15 years ago.

George Carlin was a lefty, and in today's world he would be labeled a fringe, far-right, Nazi fascist for the commentary he expressed on stage.

Liberals have definitely ruined comedy.

I had thought the Trump era would be good for comedy.

Needless to say, I was mistaken.

Obama's reign killed comedy. They wouldn't make fun of him or anything political, divisive, etc.

Then it was 110% Trump all the time the last few years. Now it will go back to the Obama style where nothing is challenging and it's all softballs again as to not offend.

Part of the attraction of comedy was that it could take offensive subject matter and have everybody laughing about it together. That’s largely taboo now.
