Can you link the evidence to any of that? I mean, we know cops don't lie

my son would not have been coming out of an alley at night, carrying a gun, and running from the law....i raised a son and he is a prime example that if you follow the rules, obey the law and act like a human, you don't get beat up by the po-po

This young man wasn't carrying a gun.

Oh I get it, you’re one of those “resistance” idiots. Facts right in your face and you ignore them, go frick yourself. You’ll grow up one day kid and realize how wrong your mind is right now

Nope, I believe in waiting for the facts to come out but I'm also not a hyprocite and do not openly advocate for state workers to break the law and beat citizens. Being consistent is tough, I know.

You obviously do not read very well. I have not said that we know either way what happened. My problem ITT and threads like it is this mentality where cops are justified in breaking the law because someone ran or did something they didn't like.

If you resist police by running then yes, you deserve an arse kicking at the very least. Does that answer help your agenda? The kid wasn’t gunned down btw, stop with your stupid bullshite. Obey the fricking law, it’s not difficult

It is unlawful for the police to beat a person they have in custody, if they had caught the kid, cuffed him and put him in the patrol car they wouldn't be under investigation. Cps are not above the law, why is that so difficult to understand.

He had already dropped it?

Maybe someone should work on some x-ray glasses for cops. Then you would complain about them looking at women.
I have barely skirted the law most of my life, and ended up OK.

I have never ran from them though,or dared them.
That is just a losing proposition.
Now that I am older, and have loved ones out there going about their lives, I need criminals to have certain knowledge: You are not going to get away, and can't do anything that you want.

You're not talking to a conservative, posters like him only believe in small government when it suits them.

I read very well, you obviously do not. READ THE GOD DAMN ARTICLE IN THE OP. Resisting arrest by flight and by violence are both against the law. This kid committed both of those crimes, if you run from, then fight police you are going to get a well deserved beating.

What is your point?

To put this in proper perspective, there has never been a caucasian beaten by police in similar circumstances. Not one. Ever.

I assume you're being sarcastic. Kelly Thomas? At least this black kid is still alive. Kelly Thomas, not so fortunate. Link to article about Kelly Thomas

How do you know he committed those crimes? Was he convicted? Is there a state law that flight from police means the police can lawfully cave in your face?

What are you talking about? No one has been to court before they were arrested for the crime. I see where you’re going, you hate police, you hate laws, and you’re probably a communist

Police have absolutely no business beating someone like that. No excuse.
