I would add the botched Afghanistan withdrawal and how Biden ignored the plan he had. Spell it out in detail. Make sure he discusses it front of a video in a loop of Biden checking his watch as the remove the caskets of the dead soldiers at Dover AFB.

That "some" is the GOPe helping the dems to win.

At this point in time, what difference does it make? He'll likely be a convicted felon before November, and thus unable to vote in all 51 states. And he certainly won't be elected president

Trump needs to focus on election integrity. It's the only thing he should be focused on. Nothing else matters.

The economy. Nothing else matters.

2) Inflation

What do you think Trump would do in office to bring inflation down?

Nothing.

He will have a hard time making headway but at least he can lie and pretend like he knows what to do and get elected.

Any GOP candidate running on abortion in a role for the federal government at this point deserves to lose.

Is that what you're calling your oxidation pond out back these days?

I got bad news for you, that's not a Baby Ruth bar floating around back there.

Trump could win on immigration alone, but he's doing nothing to verbalize his ideas.

No offense, but I was hoping to get an opinion from a Trump supporter on this.

When Trump brow-beat the Fed Chair to lower rates during an economic expansion, I knew right then Trump had no clue about how to run the economy. He just wanted to crank it up to 11.

There is a difference between 'campaigning on an issue' and answering a question. Trump will answer any question because he would look like Biden if he just walked away.

That's fair.

Still, can he keep campaigning on these two issues?

Remember... that includes unsolicited twitter posts. Those are campaigning, not answering questions.

You'll not get one. They honestly don't give a shite about inflation or debt.

Populism is an unsustainable cancer.

One must first get elected.

You would think how the House is being run - where Johnson can barely hold the rope due to how divided the House is - would show you that.

Winning elections has to come first, because in order to change anything, you have to first win elections.

Your two topics are great but add fair elections. No one has trust in our elections being fair and honest right now.

That's an issue for the states to fix.

The economy, that’s what wins nation elections. Ours is fricked. If he doesn’t win, there will never be fair elections again.

Trump is one of the reasons we have this. How can he 'attack' that without attacking his own administration and himself?

Trump made some poor decisions regarding COVID response and funding that were made in the heat of things.

However, Biden, with the benefit of hindsight, has doubled and tripled down on the poor decisions.

To me, Trump owns 20% of this issue, Biden 80%, and Trump - if he could admit it - I think has a reasonable out for his 20%. Biden has no excuse.

Well, it’ll be tough, if not impossible, to avoid the abortion issue if the Democrats make it an issue. Illegal immigration is a good issue for Trump now, but most voters aren’t as deeply immersed in the details as a lot of our posters, so the Dems may get some traction out of the compromise bill that was shot down. We’ll see as the campaign progresses.

I think highlighting the insanity of letting bio males compete in female sports is low hanging fruit. It’s tough for Dems to defend it, plus it riles suburban women up when they think of their daughters having to play against dudes.

I’m not saying it’s the only thing to talk about, but it’s low hanging fruit.

Excellent point, Dude …

Another plank for consideration is smaller Federal government. Shrink the bureaucracy and have a meaningful impact on spending at a time when it is needed most. I suspect that’s a policy that most American taxpayers can rally behind … effectively.

Let them learn to code …. it’s transitory
