If the Post would have ran this story before the runoff, if these women would have come forward before the runoff it may have changed my mind and i would have voted for Strange. The timing was set up not to allow for this, this is grandstanding and a political trick to guilt conservative voters into staying home or voting for Jones. I will vote for Moore and if these accusations hold up i will vote for a conservative with better morals at the next oppurtunity

It amazes me that the media still doesn’t get how much people hate and despise them. They are in for a rude awakening. They actually think they can still influence an election? Please!

yeah i think the issue with this plan by the DEMs to guilt the GOP to forfeit this seat is that (1) this is fricking Alabama and Moore is going to win anyway so (2) the national GOP can totally distance themselves from Moore and avoid any logical dirt (the DEM-coordinated media will still try, obviously)

this is a play for a closer election where the GOP would actually be in a tough spot. they can totally frick over Moore with little chance of risking the GOP losing that seat. then this narrative makes the GOP look great and only the voters of Alabama look bad, and no offense, but the coastal progressive already think Alabama is full of pieces of shite

*ETA: and frick Auburn

Reminds me of the study where they brought in doctors and scientists to explain the virtues of vaccines to antivaxxers and it was shown that his made them LESS likely to vaccinate their children.

There is no vaccine for stupid.

oh yeah 100%

this shite would have swayed that election in GA earlier this year

but Roy Moore? in Alabama?

The time to drop these bombs against Moore was months ago, not a few weeks out from an election in which every voter knows of the razor thin majority the republicans currently hold in the senate. The idea that it could be used to force him out of the race shows how completely ignorant people are of Moore. You don’t get removed from the bench twice for refusing to follow a lawful order without being a stubborn son of a bitch. Moore isn’t going to drop out because his history says he won’t. It is this martyr complex that makes his base of supporters so fricking rabbid as well. The rest of us who are not part of his core support are not going to vote for Doug Jones and we aren’t going to sit at home and hand him the election either. As far as I’m concerned, voting for Moore is the only way we can ensure the dems don’t pick up a key seat, but also gives us a chance to deal with Moore post election, whether it being recalling him or whatever.

Prediction...

Moore wins, GOP disavows Moore and all turn away from him. Moore steps aside after election, AL Gov appoints replacement.

It's quite a sight to see the self proclaimed Party of Family Values and defender of Christianity elect a child molester and pedophile to the Senate.

This makes me smile. I don't want Alabama and the GOP to disappoint. Can't wait to see the headlines the day after the election.

There was lawyer on CNN last night saying there are rumors that more victims are coming forward. I hope they wait until a couple of days after the election.

I want Roy Moore to win so we can see the GOP senate try to expel him. I want to see the chaos here and the sheer disconnect and audacity on display.

Democrats did everything they could to put Raping Bill Clinton and his enabler Hilary back in the White House just a year ago.

STFU.

Haha if you think Roy Moore is the only elected elected official with victims of the past coming to light, pull up a chair and wait. This won’t start and end with him at all. I expect many senators and house members to start having some women maybe even men come out. It’ll be the same snowball effect Hollywood is seeing.

I donated to Moore's campaign today and I live in Kansas. I hate the fricking media. This is pretty obviously a set up. Two weeks until the election and the allegations come out for something happening 40 years ago. We have seen this timing before before.

Yeah, your kids will be proud of you knowingly giving money to a guy alleged to attempted rape of a 16 year old. Real high moment in your life.

Umm.. That's what's expected of the Democratic Party, right? And we're told on here that we like to kill babies, are godless Atheists, and "filth".

We're not the self proclaimed morality police like the GOP.
That's what makes this so sick yet perversely hilarious at the same time.
