What DOESN'T draw "widespread condemnation" from journalist and a chunk of American citizens? For much of that group there is literally (and I intentionally use that word) nothing he can do that doesn't garner criticism.
The problem is when EVERYTHING is a "disaster", NOTHING is a "disaster." The media and many democrats are like crazy girlfriends that freak out over everything. Eventually you have no idea what really is a big deal, so you just ignore it all and attribute it to her being batshit.
Last week it was the Supreme Court nominee that would end America as we know it. The week before that was the audacity to attempt to curtail illegal immigration. This week we're back to Russia and evidently the cold war (that Obama laughingly said ended 20 years ago). Next week Trump may tweet something and the media/democrats will have another case for Armageddon.
