So I turned on Fox Business yesterday morning and this morning to see what was going on. They had weather reports nationally, but I was flabbergasted by their description of heavy rains in California.

Both yesterday and today, they referred to atmospheric rivers caused by climate change and cited unnamed researchers who predict an increase in atmospheric rivers and storms by the end of the century. Today, I listened to some guy who talked about what the feds and states are doing to reduce CO2.

Following the unhinged Al Gore screaming about weather events at Davos earlier this week, atmospheric rivers, rain bombs, droughts caused by I don’t know what sucking moisture out of the ground, etc., im trying to figure out what the hell is going on.

In recent years, Arctic bomb cyclones, now rain bombs and atmospheric rivers, all undefined a decade ago now described by msm to be caused by climate change.

Where’s the science? Is it settled science? I haven’t seen it. Anyone on this board?

Atmospheric rivers used to be called "Pineapple Express" in colloquial terms.

Nothings changed but the terminology to make it sound more recent.
All the talk of a La Nina winter, it sure feels more like El Nino. Same storm patterns. I think they got this one wrong.

Bunch of new words for common weather events to get peoples’ attention. Never heard “polar vortex” until a few years ago. We used to call that “cold air.”

Mt. Kilimanjaro STILL has snow on its peak.

The arctic is still frozen.

There is no climate crisis.

A few years ago we had a "red flag" warning for fire danger, which is not common in a rainforest but the dumbass white girls were all upset claiming it was "historic" (their favorite new word) and they cackled incessantly.

Fire danger in forests existed forever, just were a couple times a decade event here and when the terminology changed, the dipshits thought they were on the cutting edge of something exciting.

Atmospheric Rivers is a cool term invented by Californians. It means nothing. They are actually the jet stream and the weather systems they push around all over the world. Californians can never be grateful for anything. Drought leads to wildfires and wildfires lead to denuded earth which turn to mudslides when the atmospheric rivers get working. It all ends in June and the Californians choose something else to bitch about.

This seems to be at odds with "rain bombs" and "bomb cyclones" and "atmospheric rivers." Nevertheless, Al Gore is a man who knows his stuff.

Bottom line, if the weather turns nasty, and causes floods, hail, tornadoes, cyclones, blizzards or other destructive events, it's the result of manmade climate change as a result of carbon injustice.

That's when "June gloom" sets in, fog and dreary, cloudy weather that soon gives way to excess heat, firestorms, fire tornados and more intensified manmade climate change misery.

Yeah, when I was a kiddo, most people referred to these things as “weather”.

To be sure, we had our chicken littles back then as well screaming about the coming Ice Age and then a bit later Acid Rain.

It’s a perpetual grift and a lucrative money maker for a select few. I just ignore them and enjoy the nice weather days and probably beeech a little more as I get older about the lousy weather days.
