They utilized a system that had been biblically accepted for centuries.


300 years from now our descendants might condemn us for basing so much of our economy on fossil fuel.

The founding fathers actually gave us the mechanism to right wrongs that had been going on worldwide for eons. Props to them. The 21st century would resemble the 18th century but for the existence of America.

Your subject-- which you're trying to posit as some pithy political observation-- is just more dull and tedious than you perhaps think it is.

Sure, it would've been nice if the considerable foresight of the Founding Fathers was a little better and they nixed slavery right off the bat. But the development of Marxism and identity politics, and the burgeoning encumbrances of politically motivated welfare programs, the border crisis (which is enflamed by NGOs working south of the border), the creation of the Fed and the subsequent corruption of banks, politicians, and other institutions, etc. have been a slowly growing cancer that presents the truer threat to our future... and all of these developed AFTER slavery was banned.

Your non-nuanced take that slavery is the root of the issue (without even adding context) is just not that smart or even edgy. It makes you sound like the sort of paid shill that shows up a couple months before an election to add FUD to the board.

If you're not a shill and actually want meaningful discourse, say something meaningful. This thread isn't it.
