The indictment states that Comey's congressional testimony happened "in the Eastern District of Virginia."

I didn't practice criminal law. Can anyone explain this? Thx

NVM: I had just seen footage of him testifying on Capitol Hill. Apparently, this was based on testimony he gave remotely from his home in McClean, Virginia.

Help me understand why Democrats want to protect Comey. He is allegedly a Republican and he single handedly cost Hillary the 2016 election.

Are you willing to protect an obvious criminal because, among the galaxy of individuals he treated unfairly, Trump was among them? Is that all it takes?

he lied to feds several times, but if I'm not mistaken, the Columbia friend was after he was fired. I think the indictment is for ordering leaks while he was FBI director.

Discovery will be the funnest part of this trial. Legally processing his financial, e-mail, hard mail, telephone etc will pop out a bunch of dirty laundry for the deep state.
