If I were advising the dems in TX on senate or governor races it would be simple. Find a Hispanic man in his 40’s that is in good shape with a traditional family. If they could find someone like that to be their Trojan Horse they would have a really good shot at winning.

Agreed but remember the base. Any clown with a R by his name has a floor of 45% bare minimum in Texas.

Combine that with combat vet who grew up ranching and has some energy background and he’d win by a mile.

Problem is, that’s way, way too much testosterone to be a democrat.

I'd like to know why nobody is talking about the fact that he's admitted to being attracted to kids? Particularly trans kids.

"I love, I’m just saying this because it's on my mind, the trans children who showed up yesterday at the state capitol to advocate for their humanity."

This is a completely insane comment. ...and probably criminal.

You make a good point about a more appealing candidate for the democrats.

Same goes for republicans.

They would probably win in a landslide if they nominated someone who’s not a crook and a terrible person.

IDGAF

Policy is what matters. If you assume that all politicians are immoral sociopaths, and just concern yourself with their policies, you will be happier.

Worrying about whether some dude running for office is a "good person" is a fool's errand.

You guys are such frickin alarmists.

55% of hispanics voted for Trump.

The overwhelming Indian population represents 1.5%

And here at the Alamo we stand before the statue of Jame Butler Bonham. He was dispatched through the Mexican lines to Sam Houston to request the troops come to rescue them, but to no avail. He returned to deliver the news and was cheered until he informed them no troops were coming but he would stand and die beside them. Colonel Travis then drew the infamous line in the sand and the men crossed...and died.

But from it rose the annexation of the southwest from Mexico, the joining of the west with east and a United States a country who then saved the world in two world wars.

So if you think one man cannot change the world, by golly one Texan can.......Que the eyes of Texas are upon you..........

Republicans will show up and it will be a rout.

But it does relate to corruption and screwing over regular Americans in the process.

Aside from you, a lot of other people are waking up and realizing that if you keep electing crooks to leadership positions, the end result is not better for everyday Americans.

Ken Paxton was indicted and arrested for fraud, he was impeached by his own party, his wife left him because he cheated on her, and his own staff called the FBI on him.

Republicans will throw out all their morals and Christian values for Temu Trump. Insane they chose him of all people.

Policy. Policy. Policy. If the person is going to implement policy that you agree with, then none of that matters. A moral man can pass horrible legislation and a sociopath can pass great legislation.

The bills that are voted on do not contain footnotes describing the morality of the voters.

In an ideal world, you would be correct, but the world is far from ideal.

In the current election environment that we have, especially in high-profile races, the odds are that a highly immoral person will be on both sides of the ticket. No normal person would choose to participate in such a circus.

Give it a rest.

That doesn’t begin to equal the stupidity of the left in whole.

Those people aren’t politicians. That description fits damn near everyone who runs for office regardless of party.
