Many problems we have now can be traced back to an initial govt program or policy that was created to help the people it hurts. But instead of recognizing this and rolling back, leftists think they’re smart enough to fix it with the right tweak; which only ends up causing more damage. This is proven time and time and time again.

Yup. It's crazy. The problem is it's hard to codify a rebuttal to yet another gov't program or tweak to a gov't program will ultimately lead to more of the same, when any opposition to such is met with identity politics.

So you are ok with killing a viable baby in the birth canal, only seconds from birth?

I’m pro choice so I’ll take a stab.

I really DGAF when it does what. I don’t care what choices other people make that don’t affect me in this free country. See how that works.

Now let me ask you, what do you gain by being pro-life?

Not personally, but that doesn't really happen with any great frequency in the US.

The bans you support certainly aren't made to address that sort of abnormal situation.

Would you consider a fetus at 6 weeks and a fetus at 38 weeks to be the same in terms of "viability"?

If so, the problem is that you don't understand the word in this context.

That is about the only honest answer from somebody that is pro choice. “Life begins at conception but I don’t care what other people do”

I believe life starts at conception. Any purposeful act that ends the life of a child (post-conception, as stated) is immoral in my view.

Yep. I had this convo with my family over mother’s Day. I think the problem is most blacks don’t trust whites because of the past. Which, given what many of our parents and grandparents went through was understandable.

But we need to learn to update our thinking and realize that times have changed, and the people who’ve hurt blacks the most in the past 40 years have been other black people. You should have seen the looks on their faces

They might not have liked what I had to say, but they respected it and hopefully I planted a seed.

I'd guess well over half the folks on this board love the feeling of repubs taking a victory far more than the truly give a shite about abortion. <- why I hate both sides of the political spectrum

Irrelevant. A 10 year old can survive on it’s own much better that a 1 week old. Both are still humans.

So you don't see anything wrong with a person aborting a fully formed baby that is viable outside the womb or you do and just don't give a shite?

Exactly, so before it’s (allowed to be) born, it isn’t known if it will be a human? What else could it be?

Predictably
I'm sure you know the exact moment a fetus becomes a human being, but no, I actually don't know

I do see something wrong with it. And I do give a shite. But that's what my opinion means, shite. If that same woman who wants an abortion had any say in how you raise or didn't raise, your kids, you'd be flipping out.

People are free to make their own choices, even and especially if I don't agree with them.

I'm against murder. Now how do I benefit by forcing a woman to have a baby she doesn't want?
