In 2008, there were 57 Democratic contests for delegates or Presidential Preference. Texas had TWO and not one. Obama's point was that he was contesting all 57 of them. He just misused the word state but there were 57 contests and not 50 in 2008.

One of them was robotic and always read from a TelePrompTer. One of them rarely uses a TelePrompTer. For the record, Obama was a terrible speaker without a TelePrompTer. His press briefings were truly cringeworthy with all the drawn out uuuuuuhs and ummms. He could talk for 15 minutes without saying anything.
