Well right now, conventional wisdom says it's to distract from this Epstein shite. Maybe it is. I don't know.
But what I've learned about Donald Trump over the years, is that his nature is that of a showman, a celebrity. He's bombastic, loud and likes to entertain his audience and right now, his audience is MAGA.
I think he would be doing this shite with Obama even if this Epstein business wasn't going on. He frickin' hates Barack Obama, and I think he's willing to scapegoat Bondi to get his digs in.
When this shite fails, MAGA will blame Bondi, not Gabbard or the Prez.

These days it’s reasonable to believe that charges against the highest profile political figures can be brought without any real intention or expectation that an actual conviction would result. The genie’s already out of the bottle on that. The precedent’s set in stone.

We’re not exactly talking about an actual plan of Trump to do this, but rather the thought amongst the populace that it’s a precedented possibility. Do I think he’d actually do it? If there were actually legitimate evidence to justify it, sure I do. But short of that, no I don’t think he would merely out of spite. He’s above what’s been wrongfully done to him, despite his critics’ insistence otherwise.
