Wrong. Since hes been going after Desantis Trumps numbers have skyrocketed. Hes now 30 pts better than Desantis, and for the first time is +5 vs Biden In fact, there is now an undercurrent of support for Youngkin (Va) to run instead of Desantis Trump is your only hope. Independents remember very well how the country ran under Trump. They want that back. Desperately

I voted Trump both times. But I know a lot of people who voted Trump in 2016 and either didn't vote at all in 2020 (my daughter, no pics) or voted Biden or even Libertarian. All of them didn't hate Trump's policies. They generally liked what he had done up until his mishandling of Covid. But they all HATED his behavior. They just couldn't tolerate the leader of our country going around and name calling his opponents or the egotism and blustering that he does. I didn't love it, but I held my nose and voted for him because of results and policies.

You are confused.

The people he is allegedly "winning" aren't the people he will need to win a general.

Those tactics will hurt him with those voters and he will get crushed.

Because Ron will continue with interventionalist foreign policy, lax border policy and faux-free trade deals.

First, just yesterday (or the day before) you posted that you thought RDS and DT would be about the same on the border. Or am I mistaken about that? If not, what has DeSantis done in the last 24 hours that makes you now believe differently?

There's a difference between unanswered questions and assuming the worst as fact. I have questions about RDS and interventionism, and Ukraine specifically. I think that's fair. What isn't fair is pretending you know something you clearly do not. You have no real reason to believe as fact that RDS would be any different from Trump on foreign policy.

Same for trade.

I do not understand how a bright guy can type this BS out and hit submit.

What f'n gravy train did Trump disrupt? Even where I give him a shite ton of credit - foreign policy/not f'n around militarily - does not mean he starved the MIC. In fact, he shoveled way too much money at the pentagon.

Primarily because, as you likely are fully aware, he is not campaigning for President yet.

I'd prefer our next great conservative standard bearer not have think that he must be meticulously calculating on when and how he will articulate all his great ideas of how he intends to be our next great conservative standard bearer, but maybe that's just me.

We have a book that seems to say not much of anything as best I can tell (although, I'm anticipating reports from those here who buy and read it to possibly tell me otherwise) and a full court press of media appearances, similarly saying not much of anything.

Why is it strange to want to press for real actual ideas AT THIS POINT? Why should those ever have to be articulated on a particular timeframe?

Yep. And the Never Trump people are using them and their tactics here gleefully.

One literally uses Lincoln Project crap to promote DeSantis over Trump. About 3 have Fallin for the "they want Trump because they know he will lose".... when they are on record wanting the opposite. They are the original GOPE people who got pissed that Trump beat them.

McCain people.... Bush people...

Ukraine, idiot

They are the money launderers. Also why Trump was impeached so quickly over a single phone call to seek justice from Ukraine. Which even the media is admitting Trumps accusations about the Bidens are likely true

Also why the media is so pro-Ukraine in this war. If Putin were to seize control, the shite he will have on US politicians is unimaginable

Because common sense tells you that he isn't going to give them yet. There is no reason whatsoever for any one, Trump included, to have started campaigning this early.

What DeSantis policies do these folks and others you may know support that Trump didn’t support or opposed?

I want to preface this by saying that I'm not specifically a DeSantis supporter. I do think that Florida's state government has been reasonably well run lately. I do credit DeSantis for a substantial portion of the real progress being made in Florida. I also quietly appreciate anyone that causes this must disconcertment among members of our media/entertainment industry.

DeSantis is definitely not my horse right now. But he will be if the decision ultimately comes down to a choice between DeSantis and Biden.

Trump is crushing it with Independents

Its the deviant DIM party and the deviants of the GOPe that are against him. Like the Lincoln Project, Romney, McConnell, and Ryan

The only available evidence on the topic, the 2020 Presidential election, directly contradicts this statement.

I reject the notion that it is "common sense" to hold back on actual positions and ideas for anyone who's looking to possibly lead us out of the disastrous mess we are in.

We are long past the stage of calculating gamesmanship. Or at least we should be. shite is nauseating to me and should be to any serious thinking person at this point.
