True, but not for those reasons.

Men don't "marry down" because society tells them to choose a female who makes less.

They "marry down" because men are A LOT less picky about the financial/professional qualifications of their mate. They generally prioritize attractiveness and maternal potential.

There's always been a lot more attractive middle-class and lower-class females than attractive upper-class females. That's why we've seen an historical trend of men marrying down, which might be confused as being a "societal" norm.

I would actually argue that marrying across socioeconomic strata is the more modern phenomenon. Socioeconomic boundaries used to be much more strictly regulated by society. That's where the "rich young man falls in love with pretty poor girl" story archetype came from.

It’s time to stop making sorry arse excuses like this to try and appease a dysfunctional culture. The reality is that a woman who has pursued higher education and a high powered career has become a less fit spouse, wife, and mother because opportunity costs.

3 quick things:

1) Showing data is bitching?

2) Do you tell black people complaining about racism to get their skin bleached?

3) How is it a bad thing to show discrimination, or at least huge discrepancies?

I mean, you understand this includes all races, not just white women and men?

The prison stuff isn’t shocking or unexpected given the inherent differences in the genders.

The educational stuff is the result of the educational system being tailored for female learning as opposed to male learning. It’s a huge issue that needs to be addressed.

But what’s left off of that graphic is that males, even with all the AP/Honors statistics, still out score females on standardized testing across the board.

Hmmm, they left out a comparison of men/women with IQs over 130. Hmmm.
