I can hear the shitbag lawyers for the school board/principal/employees now:
What kind of parents are these that they didn't notice the scratches on the back of her head from the nylon rope? They clearly have no case against my clients, who were just looking out for the other children in her classroom/school.

Radio caller story:
DFW area school. Her kid walked by a classroom and mentioned to his buddy how he thought the gay/BLM flags in the classroom was illegal. Teacher (maybe sub don't recall) heard him and yelled at him calling him some kinds of -phobe and apparently said he should sucker punch the kid. Mom is suing the school.
Another where a teacher got in trouble (either put on leave or fired) for speaking up against some CRT training. To her mom who is on some local teachers assoc/board. Which then the mom brought it up, and the ISD got made at the teacher for "ratting them out"
Now I want to say these are happening in the Arlington ISD, cause the host had a construction co. guy on talking about how that ISD is screwing him over not wanting to pay a million$+ invoice for work and machine rental he did for them during the winter storm last year. Apparently they signed off on all of it and then turned around wanting his invoices so they can decide what his profit should be etc.
Anyway, I think people started calling talking about how f'd up the Arlington ISD is.
Seriously though Tarrant Co (FTW) right now is the current fight for normalcy. Still has a bunch of conservative baws, but all the leaders seem to be lefties. Especially the superintendent of the FTW ISD and don't forget the election administrator being an ex-Smartmatic guy.

The School District doesn't have a say in this entire matter ...until, the following has been completed.
This goes directly to the Brevard County Sheriff's Department for a full investigation. The Detective assigned to this will interview everyone involved multiple times. For these idiots in that school to have attempted to excuse their behavior is laughable at best. At the completion of the investigation, charges will be filed by the Sheriff's Department. Seems like at least three people need to have lawyers lined up ...because hell is coming for breakfast. You can bet the Governor's Offices will stand behind the Sheriff's Department and oversee every interview and every moment of the investigation. This investigation could well take down the School Board that decided to resist the State's Mandate about masks in schools ...There isn't a damned thing Biden can do to save them. Before Brevard County Lawyers step up to plate, all charges and arrests will have been made. If the state declares war on Brevard ...those lawyers will facing the task of trying to save their clients who all violated Florida Law.
You haven't experienced hell on earth until you get dragged through the mud in a shooting contest between the Sheriff's Department investigation and a series of lies by a school leadership. Florida doesn't play games.
Hope the Dad was smart enough to photograph his daughter, then keep all evidence .... The school already messed up ...at least three people including the principle and the School Board are in for a rude awakening.

My concern with the whole "get on the school boards" mantra. It initially sounds good and the fix, but damn once they get in position what will happen to them? I see some of the people pushing this stuff and just don't see the typical lefties, but people corrupted after by the Soros types and the AGs SiL types. People on these boards aren't shielded from contractors etc wanting to do work with the schools.
Perhaps if we are hiring new irs agents they should be for a special division dedicated to auditing public officials from the top down. Not from their private time but from the time they go into public office. Ed if they are full-timers.

The one silver lining in this horrible story is that it happened in Florida and I hope every thing you predict comes to pass. Once this story reaches DeSantis' desk, which I am sure it will if it hasn't already, the hellfire will rain down on the sick assholes responsible for this.

ETA- it was this story, and he even stated that the teachers/school board tortured his daughter, proving once again that Tucker's on the poliboard.
