Florida has released their first early voting results - I'll update this thread daily. In 2016 Democrats led Republicans by roughly 150,000 in early voting. LINK

It will be very interesting to see which way the no party affiliation voters go. I have to imagine they go trump but we will see.

Miami-Dade:
Rep: 31,799
Dem: 35,383
Rep: 31,799
Dem: 35,383

So I love Florida for the data...
One thing of note though - early voting is only part of the picture.
Repubs were higher mail in vote in 16 by 69k votes. Ris down 500k in vote by mail this year (returned) with another 300k deficit of request but not return.
Hopefully that is cannibalization of remaining vote but Rs will need to run train on early voting and same day

Even 50/50 break and GOP is winning comfortably. Based on current numbers they’d have to break huge for Biden. Like over 75% Biden

Perhaps I am reading the numbers wrong, but it looks like (to this point) Democrats have already vastly exceeded the 2016 numbers in the "vote by mail" category by 400,000 votes. Republicans are (to date) about 200,000 short of the 2016 numbers
Because of the massive push from the D's to vote by mail and Democrat voters likely being the ones most terrified to leave their houses, I think just looking at the raw "voted early" numbers (which I assume means voted early in person) may not be all that impactful.
However, with Democrats probably being more likely to vote early or by mail than ever before, we may have a good understanding where things sit going into election day. I.e., the bulk of the D vote may be in before Nov. 3

Those totals are for Early (in person) voting only. The current Vote-by-Mail totals in Florida are:
10/23 Update:
Republicans: 1,041,525
Democrats: 1,610,564
Other: 40,483
No Party: 687,692

Crazy Americans. They don't like seeing their cities on fire. Why can't they see it for the harmless fetish that it is?

Exactly. Democrats are actually ahead by about a half million votes.
GOP with a comfortable lead my arse.
OP didn't even bother to read his own info.
And at the drive by downvotes. Hey pal, whoever it was, why don't you actually make an argument? The OP's link actually shows the GOP down about 500,000 votes.
Some of you clowns are fricking hilarious.

Whoa
Is this like in Election Day voting where they always count and release the Democrat urban areas last?

Miami-Dade (like Broward and Palm Beach) is majority Democrat (though with the Cuban and Venezuelan populations has a strong GOP base).
Yet that's not a big lead in an area they are expected to take.
And again, this is solely party affiliation. If the crossover effect is negligible that still isn't good for the Dems. Are there that many Republicans who plan to vote for Biden, or is it more likely to have Democrats who plan to vote for Trump?

Yes, but remember that Democrats are much more likely to vote by mail than Republicans bc it’s being pushed by their party. A very high percentage of Trump voters do not trust mail in ballot counts and will vote in person.

You need to chill and learn.
The Dems need a min of a 650,000 “Cushion” to feel good about where they are related to Florida going into NOV 3rd.
At this point they ARE NOT on track to do that.
Also this doesn’t factor in the huge Hispanic support in Miami Dade that are going MAGA.
These are good numbers.

Never the case. The cemetery votes always come in way late.

See the comments above about Miami/Dade.

Sure, everything you say may be true.
It doesn't change the fact that the OP completely misread the info he posted. The GOP does not have a
lead right now. Period.

I saw them.
They are completely irrelevant to the fact that the OP's post was incorrect. While the numbers may look good for the GOP, they don't have a lead at all.
