Idaho is being ruined by progressive filth moving there from California and bringing their politics with them. Actual people from Idaho are furious about the invasion and they’re making sure the filth know they aren’t welcome there.

I hope your son has good conservative values.

Idaho is a beautiful state. Especially over near Yellowstone.

I'm working on my exit plan for early March. Southern Idaho is where I'm going. Not for any political reasons, it is just pretty. Going to buy some land and chill. I can also work anywhere with my job.

I bet the company doesn't know he's conservative. Lol

I could have relocated there for a 2nd career / retirement gig, but my wife no-billed it. She now regrets it.

Question regarding state taxes with these situations...company based in one state and working from a different state. How does that work?
ETA I’m assuming you would pay the state you work in but not sure.

Then you have done the Lord's work as a parent. Great job, dad

Here is the long term problem:

Any job that can be done from home can be done from Mumbai.

What does he say about his coworkers?

What percentage of conservatives are there?
He says they bash Trump 24/7 and that he has to keep his mouth shut. Says there are a couple of other conservatives at his company but they have to keep quiet for fear of getting fired or shunned

Most of the big companies are adjusting pay in these situations.

One of my best friends is a writer in LA; he and his writing partner both just left California for Tennessee and Virginia. The shutdowns showed them they could write from anywhere, and Cali allowing the looting/riots while locking everyone else down was the last nail in the coffin

I applaud his movement. But I’m about to be a stickler. Couldn’t he move to Ohio just through the election. Or another northern swing state.

I know its a shitty ask. If every conservative moves out of California and New York and into swing states the US would be fundamentally changed for the better.

I know it looks pretty red now, but let's hope the Great Migration from California doesn't change this.

Depends. I worked now Texas full time but had my primary residence in Louisiana. Guess who paid state taxes...
