Meaning not like the normal run-of-the-mill whites. Not like the rest of us, and exception to the rule. Meanwhile when blacks do crack it's because it's part of the black culture .

you're arguing that he was so threatened by a person that instead of going home, he attacked the person.

Just a hypothetical. I don't know that to be the case, because we never got to hear Martin's side of the story. But people are quick to absolve Zimmerman because he felt threatened, and ignore the fact that maybe Martin felt threatened enough to attack him.

But is it really that absurd? Every single fight can be avoided by just going home. People choose to fight over just going home every day.

I didn't know that black culture was in reference to all black people. Kind of like white trash and redneck doesn't point to all white people.

Black culture certainly refers to the majority. It certainly doesn't refer to A minority for subculture, otherwise those specifiers would be used like they are with white trash.

I don't know many (if any) people who are quick to excuse Zimmerman of fault. The trajectory of his life led him to this slightly unsurprising place as well. He was not guilty legally. I would argue some moral culpability is his for the event as well.

You obviously take it to mean that but isn't there a possibility that the person saying doesn't mean that? That would also change with each person that said it.

It's totally irrelevant to the point I was making. Who cares if it's online or not? The point is, why does it bother you that a school you've probably never heard of is awarding an honorary degree.

That could have been Obama's free degree.

Was there actual evidence presented at the trial that proved Martin attacked him?

Yes. Between witness statements and physical evidence it was proven the Trayvon was practically on the doorstep of his father's house and that he had to go back nearly 100 yds to confront Zimmerman (or "gay rapist" according to his convo with his friend). If he was so scared then why would he have gone out of his way to start a fight?

quote:

We do know Zimmerman was following him.

Wrong. Zimmerman had lost sight of him before he even exited his vehicle. Never followed, never had even a chance to follow Trayvon by that point.

quote:

Why was it okay for Zimmerman to feel threatened to the point of him shooting Martin, but Martin being threatened enough to attack Zimmerman was not okay?

Because Zimmerman was physically attacked by someone who could have made the choice to go safely into his house. Your bullshite pile of false narrative only proves you don't have a clue about what was presented in the trial. Comically easy to pick your arguments apart though.

Talk about making your degree worthless.

If I am the HR director and resume with a degree from there shows up it goes into the trash.

Then why make it?

Undoubtedly you do. You're the only one that mentioned it.

For the last, and I mean last, time please show me here I said it bothered me. You have yet to do that.

Universities award meaningless degrees all the time. Do you throw away Princeton degrees because they gave a doctorate to Muhammad Ali?

You weren't the poster that called it depravity. You're right. But you responded to my response to his comment and I'm on a phone so I didn't pick up on that earlier.

Still, at the end of the day you're harping on a meaningless error that changes nothing about my comments to the guy who called it depravity.
