FL - Gas above $5 for 93 premiun

First time in my lifetime I have seen it over five dollars a gallon in Florida. Other than the ongoing Bloch cage is there any specific reason for this that anyone is aware of

I'm in Bama and it's over 4.20 where I'm at. Highest I've seen it here in 5 years.

Jumped over $.20 each night since Thu. when I paid $4.19. $4.79 this morning at a Shell on I75.

I filled up for 3.79 in OK earlier. Though several of the bigger places like QT and Loves were 3.99.

Gulf Coast of Mississippi $3.65 . I’ve seen worse and I can deal with it on a short term basis. Confidant that things will get better soon.

is gas generally 5 dollars in FL or did you find the highest place possible? I filled up in Tennessee for 3.64 before my 20 cent discount.

I couldn't find one station in Florida charging 5 dollars, including Key West which is usually 75 cents to dollar higher than most places in Florida.
OP is liar, liar, pants on fire. Especially the claim about the highest price in his lifetime. In 2022 the average price in Florida was 4.90. Today is barely over 4 bucks.
