This is NOT JFK's Democratic Party

This is NOT Bill Clinton's party

This is NOT the party that helped Reagan push through huge tax cuts

This is a far left, bat shite insane party that has lurched so far to the left in the last 10 years that is totally unrecognizable from what it once was

Eh, this is their version of the R's refusal to vote for Obamacare. They have the luxury of making an ideological stand because they knew it would pass regardless.

They are so bat shite crazy that not one of them will even admit that the poor just got their payroll taxes cut by the Rubio Amendment.

In full disclosure I am totally opposed to the bullshite Rubio added to that bill, but no democrat should be since it is a redistribution check.

It's not a tax cut, it's a tax increase on >50% of families.

Why are Republicans so gung-ho to vote for a massive tax increase all of a sudden?

(because it's not an increase for the super-rich and corporations)

Literally anything trump does Pelosi will say is the worst thing ever. Let them keep voting against him on every single thing and see what they have to say in 2018 and 2020 when things got better not worse.

Absolute hive mentality. They vote as their leaders instruct them to vote and constituents be damned.

This is the result of the party's welfare becoming more vital to elected officials then the people who elected them.

Look, I get why Reublicans did things the way they have. They held closed door (Dems not allowed) sessions to get this thing passed. I don't blame them. It ensures victory. But...don't complain when no Dems vote for a bill that they had no part of. That's ridiculous.

It's a sad state of political affair with one side refusing to have any member cross the isle and work with the other side
