"OMG it's so high level chess the normies can't figure it out...it's omnibus not a budget, so Trump is going to do whatever he wants....there's red and green castles and super secret marines that are going to take all the dollars Trump wants and build the wall and build hover tanks and Hillary will be tortured at gtmo...i know'd it cuz Q told me. I'm an autist, I'm the only real patriot here!"
Trump is Trump far from perfect; But he is not a secret deep stater like some of these lukewarm fools are saying. And spare me all of the IF RON PAUL woulda won crap. Ron or Rand Paul (or so far no one but teflon Don) would make it past the primaries and would be impeached by the MSM alone within a month.
It's like everyones brain rotted. Recall Romney and McCain, they were fall guys folks. And whoever thinks Kasich or Jebra! can save them has lost their skill of clear thinking.

Here is how I see it...the conservative/Republican side often goes WAY overboard to critique their own when they dabble with the other side of issues, even if there are mitigating circumstances we(conservatives) are not privy to knowing or the rationale used is not up to what we feel is a certain standard. This is why the libs/Dems normally pulverize us in key situations because they generally never break rank and use this bloc to push their weight around.
I think there is a distinction to be made with disagreeing on a certain policy or action versus totally throwing, in this case, Trump under the bus. I prefer he had not signed the bill but I'll be damned if I am going to break with him over an item or two when in the big picture we would have things exponentially worse under Dem "leadership". This brings me to my next point....in all the railing on Trump yesterday I saw very little in the way of bringing the blame for a large portion of the shite sandwich bill being placed on the Democrats who basically used political extortion, to hold useful items at bay to force most of the unsavory things on the bill. Where is THAT outrage? Had the Dems not thrown their bit in, then threaten to filibuster and have all the Dems go along with their portion of it as well as a few cuck Repugnicans...none of this would even be an issue. Yet again, the Dems don't break rank and are the ones behind the egregious parts of the bill. We conservatives need to be flying off the handle about that and how things are set up to where the minority can at any time manipulate the system to force these thingsand get their "victories" while not in power. This is where my outrage is, that they always get away with this, vote in lockstep, and never get called out for being the ones perpetrating the horrific stuff in these bills while holding up useful things like the wall and military spending.
Let's place the blame where it actually belongs!

I'm loyal to no one
But. I am amused at this idea that Trump signing this was a stunner.
I can 100% guarantee you that Trump didn't get my vote because I anticipated he was going to be fiscally conservative

What's your complaint with the bill?
Conservatives complaining about it makes sense
Liberals? ROFLMAO

Again why is the one guy with a sole choice to stop this at the bottom?
The fact that this even has to be pointed out to all off the minions on this board who would gladly wait in line all day to suck Trump's cock shows you the level of their delusion as well as their ignorance. It's comical.

OK. Here's a turncoat name for you: Donald J Trump

When you struggle with your own identity and self worth, loyalty to others is a way to fill the hole.
Loyalty is for family, not idiot politicians.

then my comments weren't directed at you, but there's a cult over in that big thread and it's out of hand. there's a difference between fringe and fantasy and that place has crossed over.
the fringe has traditionally used accumulated evidence and logic to demonstrate plausibility and likelihood. That's not occuring in that big thread now. It's all blind faith and endless rationalization. And now it's spilled over into this Trump budget thing.
Trump just royally fricked up. Bigly. And Mattis did as well. People would be better off calling them out and demanding better than to make every excuse and rationalization imagineable.
Go to court in a dispute over a contractual matter and tell the judge "well I didn't read the contract before signing it" and the judge and everyone else on the planet will tell you that was stupid. Well Congress and Trump just signed a contract, on our behalf, obligating our tax dollars without reading it. There's a lot of damn people furious about that type of negligence - and that's exactly what it is - negligence.
But here come the cultists telling us we are idiots and nevertrumpers and whiners for pointing this out. Most perplexing is telling us Trump had no choice, and that is demonstrably, self-evidently false. What evidence are they using to back up their positions - hmm, let's see - some baseless claims from anons that don't mesh with the fricking Constitution or existing law, and some stupid Q code bullshite that no one can validate, authenticate, or properly decipher.
If you are to believe in the fidelity of one's intent, then that person's words and actions must mesh together and that just fell apart for Trump. Can he recover? Sure. But he just dug a big hole. If he doesn't stack his resume with some kick arse moves over the next 7 months or so, there's going to be a lot of would-be Trump voters that stay home in November. And that's going to have massive consequences.
Scalia always said that Congress held the real power. True reform has to be rooted in Congressional action. Trump just missed a golden opportunity to take meaningful steps in that direction. This budget was the perfect time for him to launch a campaign against the swamp on both sides of the govt, and implore voters to put in a better Congress come November. If we are to believe there is indeed some sort of 'storm' coming via cleanup of the FBI, DOJ, the FED, and legal action against nefarious actors, then it ought to be combined with attacks to drain the swamp in the Congressional and budget arenas. Trump looks to have just fricked that up.
All because Mattis had a talk with him at lunch. That's fricking pathetic. If he doesn't uncork his head from his arse immediately, then he needs to resign and let us start now in trying to identify a real conservative to run in 2020.

People who keep talking about disagreeing with Trump will cost us the midterms.
I am still a Trump supporter. I think he wants to do the right thing but it is an uphill battle.
I hope we can make some lemonade out of these lemons but having the GOP hold onto their majorities really doesn't mean jack shite. Both sides constantly work against the best interests of this country. They only want to give benefit to themselves, their families and friends.
The republicans talk a good game but fall far short when its nut cutting time. This comment comes from a lifelong republican.
