California Senator Dianne Feinstein, 89, asks to be temporarily REPLACED after fellow Democrats called for her to resign over month-long medical absence

It comes Feinstein - whose political career spans more than half a century - has faced criticism from a number of Democrats, though none until now made it a point to publicly demand her resignation.
Four U.S. senators, including three Democrats as well as three former Feinstein staffers and the California Democratic member of Congress, recently told The Chronicle they fear she 'mentally unfit to serve' and that her memory is 'rapidly deteriorating.'
'It's bad, and it's getting worse,' said one Democratic senator. Speaking under condition of anonymity, the rep added that Feinstein has difficulty keeping up with conversations and discussions.
'There's a joke on the Hill, we've got a great junior senator in Alex Padilla and an experienced staff in Feinstein's office,' said another staffer for a California Democrat, about how most of the work in Feinstein's office now falls on her staff - and has for years.

Probably because she’s dying. It’s a shame. She should have hung it up over a decade ago to be with her family. She’s already scammed more than enough money to be comfortable.

That Doesn’t included her late husbands $1BB net worth which he made in private investments (gee I wonder who told him where to invest the money???) . Try being honest for once.

FOX is reporting that the DNC wants her out now, so Gavin will be able to choose her replacement before the 2024 election. Giving that person a step up on replacing her full time. Reporting as well that her staff is telling her it's time to go, as opposed to asking her to step down now. She found out she is retiring thru a reporter.
