just another day in paradise

A top FDNY official says it’s “most definitely” acceptable to exclude a white firefighter from a ceremonial unit based solely on his skin color, The Post has learned.

Cecilia Loving, the department’s chief diversity and inclusion officer, is defending a decision to kick Lt. Daniel McWilliams — one of three firefighters in the iconic 9/11 Ground Zero flag-raising photo — off a color-guard procession so it would be all-black.

Loving testified at a state Divsion of Human Rights trial on McWilliam’s complaint that he was the victim of racial bias.

Why, exactly, is it necessary for it to be all black?

When McWilliams showed up at a 2017 memorial mass to honor deceased members of the Vulcan Society, a fraternal group of black FDNY firefighters, he was barred from holding a flag in the color guard.

Regina Wilson, then Vulcan Society president, asked McWilliams to “help in a different capacity” because he is not black.

Wilson received “one hour of counseling” as discipline for her treatment of McWilliams.

Pffftttt

An hour of counseling

If it would have went the other way he would have been fired, lost his retirement, wife been fired, kids threatened at school & house burnt down

Soon it will be most definitely acceptable to kick a white family off their land to make way for land redistribution to black families.

You laugh.

Just wait.

Loving said it’s okay to replace a white member with an African-American to “uplift our identities and our separate ethnicities in order to instill a sense of pride and community and support for one another.”

What a load of crap. She memorized that sentence in a liberal arts course, no doubt.

I aint laughing. It is already acceptable in many parts of the world right now. And I believe this will be the main focus of the "reparations" talk goign on. To take land away from white people and give it to "more deserving minorities".

IT is already being talked about.

Why the frick does a fire department even have a "diversity and inclusion" frickhead officer?

Society at-large is starting to feel like the Soviet military, with fricking political commissars embedded in everything.

Because they're the "color guard", duh. Haven't you heard that black folks now own the rights to the word "color?"

All kinds of wierd shite with that word. Kinda like the n-word. They're allowed to call themselves people of color, but if you call them colored, you're an automatic racist.

frickin clown world with this shite.

Right there's your problem.

Eliminate this position immediately, and stick to doing the job.

Remind me... wasn’t the statue of the picture in question changed from three white FDNY officers to a white, black, and Latino one in order to make every group seem special?

As Tom Clancy noted in Red October, the kind of people washed out of real work due to incompetence tend to excel in the position of commissar.
