I mean, he can't exactly tell the truth, now can he?

My perfect legislator: It has been 10 days since there was an assassination attempt on a former president and current presidential candidate. You are the head of the single most powerful and prolific investigating body in the United States government, and yet you have no answer for that question, ten days on.

That being the case, as long as you are the director of the FBI, I will never vote for a single bill that gives any taxpayer dollars to the FBI, even if it shuts down all of Washington. So you can either resign now, or I will do everything in my power as a legislator to force you to resign. This entire assassination attempt has exposed at best widespread, gross incompetence, which now includes yourself and the FBI. It is unacceptable.

I don’t know why people don’t trust the FBI anymore? LOL, the agency that targeted Trump is now covering for people who failed to protect his life.

So according to the Director, the Secret Service’s performance, actions, etc… is not the focus of the FBI’s investigation? In other words….

Everyone involved in the detail that day, from planning to on site duty should be treated as a suspect until they are exonerated. Think of a missing wife case, where the husband is automatically a suspect until he is cleared.

This means all of their communications, scoured, all data tracking, location tracking retrieved, undergo lie detector depositions and be isolated from outside contact while questioning occurs of all involved.
