The Z clown should have never shown up if he intended to frick it up. I don’t see what he or the Ukraine gained from this. If he thinks Europe is going to rush in to save his arse, he’s is truly stupid. Europe won’t fund their own militaries, there’s no way they will give them what they don’t have.

It shouldn’t have happened in public. It should have happened in an environment where Trump and Vance could tell him
“Fine, you don’t want to make a deal, all aid to Ukraine is cut off immediately. Good luck”. Then get up and walk out.
This...100% agreed.

Yes it should have. All the debates and everything, I've never seen Trump get as irritated as today in public .

Trump is America first and showed the country today. He is not some little pussy politician that is promising to hand over more money and weapons and let some little foreign "leader" bend him over the resolute desk .

Basically play ball or get the frick out . Dumbass Zelensky chose the latter option thinking he was dealing with sleepy Joe. Again I say America needs to go back to pre world war 2 ideology, frick Europe and the eastern hemisphere, focus on the west and our own

I love you brother. I have no greater respect for a poster here on the Ukraine-Russia topic than I do for you and your hands-on experience with those countries.

But a world leader cannot come to the WH and act that way. It just cannot happen.

This is not about Trump. I don't care whether a foreign dignitary is meeting with Biden, Obama, Trump, or Richard Nixon the day before Nixon's resignation. If he is not prepared for a productive or at least civil meeting, he should never have accepted the invite.

Zelenskyy's advisors had to have warned him after his horrifying Zelenskyy-Bessent exchange, that there could be no Zelenskyy-Bessent Part 2. Yet, that is what we got.

How do you think this will go over in Ukraine?

He is a puppet.

He’s simply doing what he’s told.

He’s missing his usual puppet masters. Consequently, he looks like he’s changing positions all the time.

Populism is why Trump is so wishy washy, his views change with the rising tide

Just a year ago he proposed "forgivable loans" to Ukraine.

How can anyone watching that press conference think JD and Trump looked like sane individuals?

I completely agree. But two wrongs don't make a right.

Probably with a great deal of trepidation. I believe the consensus feeling there will be "Putin won."

Because we aren’t uneducated morons. Z got 350 billion from us and then comes to the white house and acts like a petulant child. Only a complete idiot would have your take after that exchange.

Faux News has 5 people discussing what just happened and they all are saying that it shouldn't have happened in public.

What is the problem with the US Citizens seeing this?

They are all kissing Z's arse! This is unbelievable.

I think the American people need to see and understand the BS this President is having to deal with. The previous illegitimate regime's incompetence has really put global stability on a knife's edge.
