Because while brief, Trump laid out the fact that if not for the United States 350 billion dollars and the United States weapons this war would have been over in less than 2 weeks . Trump said to Zelenskys face in front of the world what the majority of non progressive, blue haired, child mutilating, pedophile supporting US citizens want to say to these "leaders" we are tired of supporting and protecting you, let's see how big your balls are when you don't have US military and money behind you

Again, you’re just asserting that it’s a good thing because you like it. You’re not making a case that it is good to have this kind of discussion in public.
That’s fine, it’s just a message board.

What outcome would make you believe it was a bad idea?

So Trump and Vance should have let Z go off without a response?

frick that.

This was perfect. The entire country can see Z for what an ungrateful and irrational prick he is.

What little popular support there was in the USA for Ukraine is gone after that little tantrum
yup.

Perfect counter to the propaganda and lies we've gotten from the previous administration. Now it's in front of the American people to see exactly who we are supporting.

Not to mention, Trump is probably calculating that as long as Zelenskyy is in power no deal will be made or at least hold up.

This was a big step in sending him packing.

Exactly.
You noticed how they just kept the presser going and going until...Why lsuruss and buck can't see this happened just the way the US wanted it to. He wasn't budging. He wanted the US and Europe and a continuing war. That's it. Support him over that or don't. Just don't blame this war on Trump or the lack of peace.

Keep on about style and traditions leading to Jack shite.

He is a moron. He will learn something new to him that the rest of the world already knew. Then he comes running here to educate the board about something that is common knowledge. He is an idiot.

It didn't have to be this way. If Z had an ounce of humility, this never would have happened. Instead, he went off on a sitting President and VP in the oval office. Frankly, he deserved more.

It's not just the case I like it, if you actually read my post that the point is: Trump got irritated, his temper got raised and he got loud. With the way he delivered the message part when he said
" the problem is I've empowered you to be a tough guy and I don't think you'd be a tough guy without the United States"

It sent a message to the rest of these countries, don't start stupid shite and think that the United States is going to have your back with endless money and military support. Think before you act, think about the consequences.

And before anyone says something like well this is just Trump. It's not, with the EOS Trump has done in one month, with the way he has Elon looking into all the waisted money and I believe the last poll was %70 of Americans approve, shows this isn't just a Trump thing, he is changing the minds of Americans realizing truly how big that government dildo getting jammed up their arse is . People are waking up. They did see a post meeting press conference with two leaders acting best friends while our president says he is giving them billions more in support. It showed the American people and the world that the United States president said if you're gonna to be unappreciative and disrespectful then get the frick out of my country

He;s been praised to high heaven by women and metrosexuals for years, I imagine his ego could use a little re-calibrating.

But I do understand some of his stance with the US, as this was a proxy war. I wish Victoria Nuland was in that room.

I get most of your points, but this struck me. Even JDV said during the meeting that Russia invaded and destroyed much of Ukraine. But your “think before you act” reasoning would indicate Ukraine began the hostilities with no consideration of consequences.

Not sure these two perspectives can be reconciled.

But as Trump stated he was not in office In 2014 or 2015 and there was no war where we had to support 2016-2020,key time frame Trump and Republican in office yet as soon as a Democrat comes back in it starts back up.

As for 2014 and an agreement was signed: do you think the United States should go back and to hell with the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, we feel bad and we should give California back to Mexico? Because technically we invaded Mexico.

I mean you can look at history and see similar things. That's how it typically works larger countries invade smaller ones because they have bigger armies than the smaller nation: it's logic

Did he call Vance “bitch” in Ukrainian?
Apparently he did.

But come on, Ukraine having this guy represent their country would be about like us putting Jimmy Kimmel in the Oval Office, literally.

Putin never respected him as anyone other than a patsy who played prick with his piano, or piano with his prick. That was a huge problem in the run up to war. Frankly, the Potatobrain Administration didn't view him much differently when they scuttled peacetalks three years ago.

Putin has said he cannot/will not deal with Zelensky. Nonetheless, Zelensky still had a chance this week to bring the whole horrible episode to closure. He blew it --- badly. Now the decision rests with Ukraine. I cannot imagine a leader of a major power, much less Ukraine, acting the way Zelensky did in the Oval Office today. Hopefully, Ukraine will see the light.

He demonstrated he still is just a patsy who plays piano with his prick.
