Why? He was instructed not to sit at the table with Fauci, he was instructed that he was not there to testify, yet he did and attempted to.
Rand told him he was not recognized and to shut up at least a dozen times and he continued on. Had anyone else in the room done that, they would have been ejected.

And now the attorney is getting to testify for Fauci by having a letter circulated to DEMs prior to the hearing, so they can read his letter and talk about how this is a "show trial" or "entrapment". They set Rand up and he fell for the bait.
