So yet again the media got their information wrong.
Seemed like a foolish pursuit of time, money, and resources by Amazon, glad it's a false or mostly false report.

Incorrect. The report was denied right away and Amazon said they were only considering it for the Amazon Haul website which is their website used to ship direct from China and compete with Temu and Shien. Amazon never considered doing this for their regular Amazon website but the MSM reported it this way and Trump had to call Bezos to figure out what was going on. Amazon admitted they were considering doing it for the Amazon Haul website which makes sense because that is what Temu and Shein are doing. The Fake news is that this was going to be done on Amazon's regular website. I never even heard of Amazon Haul until today, that website came out last year.

You can not backdown when the initial reporting was wrong. Amazon was never considering showing tariff prices for their Amazon.com website. They admitted they were considering it for their direct from China website Amazon Haul which makes sense because their competitors Temu and Shein are doing that. But go ahead and believe the initial fake news reporting by Punch bowl News
