I am not in the market, but isn’t that what the futures speculation is about? The likelihood that something may interrupt the free flow of goods and services?

Gas prices have been going back up the past week-10 days around San Antonio.

I saw $2.87 here in the ATL area.

$2.99 isn’t uncommon, but most stations are still +$3.00

For the most part demand has decreased. Gasoline prices are tracking demand (hence, not much effect from other variables) for weeks now.

Yes, but right now, OPEC's threat is viewed as more likely and potentially impactful.

Which is typical post-Labor Day. Demand will increase as the Thanksgiving-Christmas Holiday Season approaches and then drop off after Christmas.

Meh. Some of those illegals probably found some low-paying, menial employment that allows their employer to pay them peanuts while the taxpayers pick up their actual living expenses.

Gas prices dropping is a true sign the economy isn't doing what is being reported.

That and they don't want it over 3.00 a gallon when people go to vote. Americans have a very short memory.

Both us and OPEC have been producing a LOT of oil (the Saudis are currently crapping themselves because their domestic spending needs oil to be around $85, so they are bitching at other members to slow down) and demand has dropped as inflation has eaten enough into consumer discretionary spending to slow down random driving (although you can't really tell that with BR traffic ).

The thing about job numbers, is you can't fake 4 years of stagnation and decline. People out in the real world know exactly what the job situation is like. No amount of media fellatio for the left will change that.

Huge numbers for September! 104k+ more than expected and unemployment down to 4.1%. The American Economy is strong! They also revised August and July up +17k and +55k respectively. What a great day for Harris.

I call BS on the numbers.... Explain this in the BLS report

Employment in food services and drinking places rose by 69,000 in September, well above the
average monthly gain of 14,000 over the prior 12 months.

No freaking way this is accurate. Average gain was 14k and rose to +69k in September.

If you believe that I have a bridge to sell you.
