FaceBook just took down the "39 children found" article for inaccuracies

I know :dearfacebook: :makeitshareable: :link: :csb:
Now that is out of the way - my dad's ole lady posted the news article about the 39 children rescued in GA from sex trafficking. It was removed for inaccuracies and being "fake news"
When she looked into it and followed up here is the kicker: they said the article was inaccurate because it stated the kids were found in a DOUBLE WIDE trailer when there were not technically in a double wide
Why are they protecting pedos?

Lots of little retards actually believe the fact checkers too.

This has been taken down because they claim to have been ritually abused to Bee Gees music.
They were actually abused to Andy Gibb music.
/distinction without a difference

Very few will bother to look at the basis for their “False” ruling.

So? It was inaccurate bullshite. They have not taken down the reports about 39 minors found in a two week operation across Georgia, which is what happened.
The things people get incensed over should amaze me but it no longer does. Too much stupidity to be surprised, anymore.

Under the trump administration, a LOT of child sex trafficking rings have been taken down.
Msm, politicians, libs in general want us to ignore and not talk about the sad fact that there are countless little kids in our country...who have been kidnapped by professional trafficking rings, and are then sold and abused. Some are outright murdered.
I always found the lack of attention that shite gets...is surreal.

One could deduce that there must be a reason for that.
...but nobody wants to pull on that string.

People have been claiming they found 39 kids in a double wide, which is certainly fake news
Not sure if that's what is going on here, but people have misstated the facts of this story from the outset.

Amazing that a completely neutral factual statement is getting downvoted because idiots think correcting Facebook rumors about a legit operation = protecting pedos

Have you not seen who gets hired for these "fact checking" operations?
It is self-evident.

I think the fact that 39 children were found in that situation outweighs the minor inaccuracy as to what exact type of structure they were found to be inside.
This is an example of fact-checking gone extreme.
If these minute facts are that important, then, for example, an article that says Laura hit Lake Charles needs to be removed because it does not include all the other areas she hit and is also inaccurate.
Although I am not surprised that Facebook has now gone from just dumb to full tard.

No it's not
OP didn't link the story, but if it's the stuff I've seen where the story indicates 39 missing kids were found in a trailer, it's not a slight technical objection.
The actual facts -
- It was a multi-agency, 2 week operation
- It was all over Georgia
- 26 kids were rescued (again, all over the state)
- 13 kids were located and determined to be safe already
It's still a great story, but it's been wildly misconstrued. Correcting "39 kidnapped children found in GA trailer" to "39 missing kids (minors) located across Georgia over 2 weeks" is a pretty huge difference.
