UPDATE: Facebook has Censored Save the Children

On the very day that POTUS designated millions of federal dollars to organizations helping human trafficking victims, Facebook moves to censor awareness about human trafficking.
Go figure.
ETA:
I forgot to update this thread last night. Facebook uncensored the hashtag. I guess they realized the optics on this one was pretty bad.

They’re throwaway humans. They serve a singular purpose, they’re (D) votes and that is all. Censorship is censorship. If these people post accusations that are false, let the accused take it to court and fight it that way.
Otherwise, Facebook must stop considering itself a platform for the free exchange of ideas and admit that it is a publisher of information like any other media outlet.
Lose lose for Facebook. And regardless of what you may think or say about Save the Children, the human trafficking thing is a real concern and you are assigning judgment calls to something that hasn't unfolded yet ("insane shite" attached to it). You don't know the whole truth on this stuff and giving it that label, you are deligitimizing all of it.
So hooray, you're justifying the censorship of a topic dedicated to helping stop people from exploiting children.

I don't say that shite, man. You find me one post of mine other than this one right here where I have ever said that actors drink the blood of babies. You won't because you can't because I haven't ever said it.
You know who has though? A-list actor Mel Gibson. He has claimed exactly that.
