Explain to me the “dems aren’t enthused about Kamala so that’s why turnout is low” logic

Very little, if any, dem voters are actually voting FOR KAMALA. They are all so eaten up with TDS that they are voting AGAINST TRUMP. It doesn’t matter who they roles out, dems are voting against one side more so than for the other. They could put a mannequin with a computer generated heartbeat on the ballot and people will still vote for it because “REEEEE TRUMP!!!”
So why do people keep saying that dem turnout is low becuase they aren’t enthused about Harris? Makes zero sense.

This doesn’t hold water though. They HATE a trump with every fiber in their body. So Harris doesn’t matter. Dens aren’t saying, “frick I hope trump doesn’t win, but I’m not going to go vote because I don’t like Harris”

Not everyone is voting against Trump, some really don't care that much. They are the ones not showing up.

Well we are four years removed from 2020 and thus iteration of the Trump campaign has been more disciplined/mainstream in some things and more liberal on some things.
People don’t love the current administration.
With that said voting against him would rally the troops IF the above wasn’t true.
More discipline IE hasn’t had random tangents that get him in trouble like the Covid bleach thing. That was a complete and utter fabrication to present it like the MSM did but he hasn’t even given them the opportunity
More mainstream -nothing like the “Muslim ban” and border control is now mainstream with the failed policies of Biden
More liberal-in regards to abortion.
Right now they are hard pressed to make him out to be this evil guy.
And people think to 2019 and think I was better off than I am now.

Because they KNOW things were better under Trump. They also know that Kamala would be worse.
Hate can only push you so far when it comes to putting food on the table and paying your bills.
The reality is they can't bring themselves to pull the lever for Trump so they will just sit this one out...it's the best they can do without absolutely voting against their self interest.

Harris does matter. she doesnt inspire anyone to the polls which is needed come election day. Or early voting for that matter.
They may hate trump but they have so for years and thats not gonna change. But its old news. They need a candidate to get them to the polling station. She wont do it for many. Its not all that hard to understand.

That's why it's so close now... though I think it isn't really.
The truth is they have to be able to 'build-up' the fire, using hate, racism, misogyny and fascism as kindling and fuel.
They don't have enough fuel when he's none of the things above and their own candidate is so week.

Unless "They" aren't as big in numbers as you think they are. The talking heads on MSNBC,CNN, Democratic Underground, Reddit, etc. can't cast all of the D votes
