This board is such a long way from 2024.

Maybe quit believing all the crap you see on tv (from both sides). The world is run by bankers and war is good for business. Theses sleezy Congress members all make money from war , they all have some sort of stock in companies that make weapons and military equipment. If they don't they except money through lobbiers that do .

The news on both sides are all owned by bankers and or elites . They feed you all crap to keep you divided, Republicans, Democrats, blacks, whites, Muslim , Christians, gays ,straights, . Look at this board everybody has a certain side they pull for , no matter what their side does they make excuses for. It's like mini football teams . Your side is who you pull for and the other side is evil. But in reality both sides are evil , they use the people to work and pay taxes and they take those taxes and enrich themselves and they laugh all the way to the bank.

None of the people in government care about we the people, govern means to control, ment means mind. So government means to control the minds.
That's exactly what they do. Theses wars are for money and land control. Israel uses Americans for their military and Congress is bought by them to do so. I voted for trump twice and was his biggest supporter until I woke up and saw he is no better than any other politician, he's owned by Israel and he does exactly what bibi wants.

I have two sons in their twenties and don't want my kids fighting and dying for evil people who use them for pawns. Iran has never endangered my family one time , bibi has been saying they are on the verge of making nukes for 30 years now . He's an evil piece of crap and don't believe a word he says. Trump ran on no wars , made fun of Obama and Biden and Bush for their wars and he's bombing Iran.

People like you argue from the perspective that this action in Iran is guaranteed to be another 20 year war. That is the whole basis of your argument. Yet, there is nothing to indicate it will happen.

This is why you people catch flak. It's not because you're against the war. It's because you argue as if the worst case scenario is inevitable.

You don't want to examine the situation as it is. You just assume the outcome and start arguing from there. In your mind, there can be no possible outcome other than what you've predetermined. So any evidence to the contrary will always be dismissed.

People try for consistency in their ideology and since few really understand what they proclaim to believe they generally just go with whatever the latest thing is.

WW1 did we really need to be involved?

WW2 def needed to defend Hawaii, European involvement, I'm not so sure

Korean war

Vietnam

Gulf war

Iraq and Afghanistan

Iran

And dozens of CIA and other military ops in-between.

What wars were absolutely necessary? As another poster stated, 38T in the hole financing these wars that had no direct benefit to the average American
