That’s a testing thing I think. The state shut down their free testing in Nebraska in June or July. One might be tempted to assume testing causes Covid.

Do they give a frick about being any more problematic than a regular run-of-the-mill flu outbreak?

It causes some inflated numbers, that's for sure.

Do you really want to know? Acuity is down significantly for those that are vaccinated.

Deaths, which had matched or exceeded the New Case curve on these scales, are significantly lagging during this surge.

Daily deaths exceeding daily cases should be your first clue those graphs are fricky.

Of course he doesn't. There is an extremely obvious answer, and if given to him, he'll just deny and say it's all a lie.

THAT'S THE LIE THEY WANT YOU TO BELIEVE, MAN!

Interesting fact, people are getting tested when symptomatic because they don’t want to quarantine. Within the Conroe ISD, cases have dropped since the beginning of the school year; however, absentee rates have not dropped and are in fact higher than they ever been. Parents are not testing themselves or their kids so that they do not have to stay home for 10/14 days. Otherwise, I think we see even more cases

Is it because this is a less deadly variant?

Is it the vaccine or better therapeutics or delta is not as deadly?

It's ashame that most in government agencies think they know better and don't need to study it.

The superimposed curves in the 3rd graph are clipped directly from the two preceding graphs. Those are scaled differently.

1. Delta is much more contagious
2. Folks aren’t doing as much to mitigate spread
3. Vaccinated folks are going about their lives and causing asymptomatic spread

On the flip side, vaccinated folks are having better outcomes
