Have any of you all responded to the email? Have any of your companies formally responded and indicated you will no longer doing business with them?
I'm waiting to see if someone files a FTC complaint. Their privacy policy doesn't allow for them to send you political e-mails. They've violated their own policies and posted about it publicly.

Why do they always seem to fit the mold?

Any and all CEOs/corporations that endorse liberal candidates should be taxed at 90%.

What if...i just decided to not use the expensify software...but instead just sent them my receipts via mail and various intervals..witb no verification of my bonafides. I can send hand written receipts...illegible receipts....my wife'e expenses...they would get tossed with a quickness. All i want is to be fairly reimbursed though.

I got this email last night as well. Our Company uses Expensify quite a bit. I also forwarded it to our CEO's admin assistant, I know our CEO very well, but he is also very busy...sometimes will f/u and sometimes doesn't via email. Well nonetheless, I get an email back from him no less than 15 minutes later after I sent it too the Admin Assistant with our CFO copied as well...."We are canceling Expensify immediately, please notify all employees we will be changing systems starting Monday (10/26)." Our Controller is sending it out to all employees.... I love it.
By the way, take a look at this guys twitter (LINK ), very progressive individual and probably has no idea he has (or had..) a sizeable client base in the O&G industry for small-mid size Companies here in Texas. He has every right to do what he did, but probably wasn't aware of the consequences...what a dumb a$$

My company’s HR dept. sent an email today apologizing that we got the email and then announced we are dropping Expensify. We have over 300 employees using the app right now.

He is probably best friends with his wife’s boyfriend.

This will be a real world lesson for employees of that company when they lose business and layoffs have to happen.
For someone that mention they feel bad for the rank and file of Expensify, you really shouldn't.
As this CEO mentioned they have a "flat" structure and all the employees voted to do this madness.

My company’s spam filter caught not one but two from him. I only knew because I get a report.

Someone else pointed out earlier, but he probably didn't have that right given his own policies.
