I have an immune system. It works very well since I eat lots of meat and vegetables and stay away from soy.

I will consider being vaccinated in a year, or two, or three - if we don't see negative effects from the vaccines by then.

The problem is that in two or three years it won't be any easier to get reliable information on the vaccine. We'll have anti-vaxxers with "prrof" that the vaccines are killing people and the government, which has a long history of lying about vaccines, health risks, etc, will be telling us the vaccine is perfectly safe.

I know someone that doctors confirmed (because she has money and was relentless) that a freaking flu shot triggered her sudden autoimmune disease.

All the power to whoever gets the vac's for travel and work. But the more Hollywood and Biden pushes the more I want to cautiously made my own mind up.

If the vaccine is bad then why is Biden trying to take credit away from Trump

The new wrinkle with be continued masks and social distancing because we have to protect minorities who somehow cant figure out how to get the vaccines per the Democrats. Just wait.

I am fairly good at wading through the data/bullshite combination that calls itself science now to reach my own conclusions. I think traditional vaccines are great for some things - I am visiting my Dr in a couple of weeks and will ask about a tetanus booster and hep a/b booster. But, we are giving WAY too many vaccines to babies and children now. I am not so much concerned about the vaccines as I am about the carrier/preservatives used.

mRNA vaccines are new and by design, each one is different. I am seeing a lot of intelligent and knowledgeable people take positions on both sides when the real truth is that no one fricking knows what the long-term effects are and we will not know until we are down the road a little on long term. On the positive side for analysis - we've got one hell of a sample size going for this experiment. I hope things turn out well.

I don’t doubt the majority refusing the vaccine are Republicans, although this is just an assumption by everyone with no statistical analysis. But you can’t tell me that there aren’t those granola moms on the west coast that are liberal and staunch antivaxxers who are not getting it either. Plus the whacko crystal healing and flat earth types which are usually liberal. Did they all magically fall in line this time even though the unknown risk could potentially be way higher?

This doesn’t need to get blanketed on Republicans
