Racism will always exist. Why? Bc people have a natural instinct for self-preservation. Be it what they see on tv or experience in real life.
What matters is how they act on these instincts or initial thoughts.
Absolutely, people that act on racism and hurt others are POSs. But as for me, a person that doesn't hurt anyone, doesn't go out of my way to inflict harm or malicious intent, and as one with no ancestors that owned slaves, I don't know what more is expected of me.
I'm not giving more of my paycheck in taxes for social programs. I'm not conceeding that affirmative action is fair and a way to balance the unfairness. I'm not protesting or rioting in the streets to feel like I'm part of some movement that is actually terrorism.
I won't feel guilty about my blessings. I don't take them for granted and have worked hard for what I have.
When there is a definitive answer to this question, I'll be happy to oblige.

The "racial division" you see going on now is fed, a lot, by politics, whether you recognize it or not. And this election's results, regardless of who wins, will only make it worse. The national media is stoking the flames of hate, every nite on national news or through daily horror shows of videos showing thugs roaming the streets, terrorizing innocent people. I do not see any blacks like you in those videos, nor do I see any whites like me, white collar, suit wearing college educated professional. But it's hard to see any "victims" when all we see are thugs looting like kids gone wild in a candy store with no adult supervision. I am no prude but I wonder if there are any black people who can talk without screaming the F word. Finally, I find it ironic, by your logic, that there are hundreds of "victims" killing other "victims" in Chicago , New Orleans, Atlanta, etc & BLM has never said a word, let alone expressed remorse.
