And the way he talked at the rally. I disliked the way Abraham spoke. He reminded me of a Mitt Romney turncoat type Republican. The fact of the matter is, no line of this matters. You need to ask yourself, do you want 4 more years of terrible job growth, state economy, and tax and spend, or do you want to give a successful businessman a shot at turning it around? And all those Abraham lovers who are upset their guy didn’t get the nomination, not voting is voting for JBE.

He reminded me of Ross Perot. People that have been working their entire life are not trained bullshite artists like long term politicians. All politicians should be voted out of office whether democrat or republican!

From the posts i read on here, looks like they'd rather have a shitty economy, and more taxes than vote for someone who doesn't talk the way they want him to talk.

These are the same assholes that wouldn't vote in Vitter because they were afraid he'd break into their homes and have sex with hookers on the kitchen table.

Louisiana is full of idiots, and so is this board.

The lefty propaganda push has ramped up big time. This board is rife with it. I’m starting to get the feeling that Eddie is gonna win this thing by a wider margin than we thought possible.

Eddie did look a little timid. They can call him Phony baloney Rispone for all I care - he's still got my vote.

Yet within a year or two, those new elected officials who weren't "politicians" will then get blasted for being a typical swamp politician We saw it with Abraham this election.

Seriously!?

If it’s sooooo bad then ask yourself: why is this even close?

It’s close for a couple of reasons:
1. Rispone is just horrible. He has no ideas and can’t speak. His strategy is to ride Trump’s coat tail. That’s it.

2. Edwards has done a good job and is conservative enough to get reasonable republicans to vote for him. Most know that we’re not “last in everything”. Most know that we had problems with the oil patch and that caused our economy to detour. Most know that we aren’t taxed to hell and back.

Get real. If Edwards was so bad, this thing wouldn’t even be close. Rispone needs Trump up there to carry him across the line and if he wins... Trump will take the credit. Sad

I voted for Rispone, but I thought Abraham did great, he was more natural now that the pressure was off.

Debates are not the same as a speech.

I'm voting Rispone again, I thought he did fine, but I'm happy we have people like Abraham, Kennedy, Cassidy in La. and I'm thrilled that Donald Trump is here in La. to help us get going again.

Just getting out of a ditch is nothing, if you don't make progress.

I think Vitter knew people
Didn’t like him as a person and was ok with that. He may have had the balls to change our constitution.

I cannot wait for a candidate to challenge mandatory/protected spending so we don’t have to butcher higher ed and medical funding.

Defend your boy all you want , he showed his true colors last night. He has nothing except "I love Trump".

And that's probably enough in Louisiana, where football is more important than jobs.

Because Louisiana still idolized Huey Long and Edwin Edwards despite them fricking the state over repeatedly.

If football is more important than jobs, the people will vote in the governor that has presided over the only state that lost jobs during the past 4 years
