Even if Trump wins, the Left will use Covid or some sort of pandemic excuse to keep power

After 9-11 and the Patriot Act was passed and our lives irrevocably changed, the power the Left has obtained by the Covid crisis is also here to stay.
Who here believes the Left will simply relinquish the power gained during this pandemic if Trump wins?
I don’t.
In fact, I expect them to double down and get worse.
Some of these governors and state officials are drunk with power they never realized they had, and they don’t plan on giving them up for anyone.
Thoughts?

And if they keep it up I see the majority of them not being reelected.

What in history makes you believe this? From my experience, especially in Democrat states, there is no voter retribution for things like this.

People like you are a threat to freedom. The left does not HAVE the power. Republicans control almost the entire government.
The Executive brach is in Trump’s hands
The congress is split, with the most important half controlled by republicans
The Supreme Court has 6 of 9 appointed by republicans, assuming ACB ascends to the court.
The majority of governors and state houses are in republican hands

The biggest concern with a Trump second term is I believe there is a very high chance the left/deep state will JFK him.

Again, there has never been a "like this" before. I think people of whatever background eventually say "I've had enough of this crap" and decide to push back. If we are at a point that this country has decided that pushing back is no longer the answer to a problem then it will take us less than the 400 years it took Rome for that empire to implode.

I’ll take whatever happens in a Trump wins scenario over the alternative scenario, any day.
I wish I had the optimism that so many here do, about a Trump win, but I just don’t.

Then they deserve what they get. If Michigan re-elects Whitmer or NY re-elects Cuomo, then those states are irredeemable.

Saw Fauci babbling about winter COVID spike. Curiously it's popping up in a lot of places this morning. (sure sign it's coordinated media push). May be htis election's "insurance" plan to FUD up the Trump admin.
