On a somewhat related note, I’ll repeat a story supposedly told at the UN by the Israeli ambassador.
He claimed that Moses once went out, found a river, and decided to bathe there, so he folded his clothes and left them on the shoreline.
While in the water, a Palestinian stole them.
The Pali rep butts in at this point claiming that there were no Palestinians in Israel at that time.
The Israeli ambassador goes “And now that we have established that, I’ll get to my speech.”

“Billions of people are about to celebrate the birth of a Jew in Bethlehem roughly 2000 years ago.
Yet somehow people insist there weren’t Jews there before 1948.”

And those same Jews chose to crucify him and continue to deny Him today. I’m a Christian but the evangelical boomer mentality about jew worship is crazy. Jews literally see Jesus as a false prophet yet evangelicals continue to give them unwarranted loyalty even when a lot of people in Israel aren’t even religious. The country of Israel today is not the same thing as the tribes of Israel from 2k years ago.

It’s not a boom. People are fully aware that there were Jews in ancient Palestine. In fact, Jews were in Palestine when it was administered
by the British government in the 20th Century. That’s really not the issue, outside of political rhetoric.

Pretty much this. Plus the post implies that everyone who celebrates Christmas doesn't believe Jews lived in that area previously? that doesn't make much sense no matter how you look at it.

People are tired of churchianity and the constant Israel shilling.

Yeh, I've never been to a Church that even talked about modern day Israel. This is not even in the top 50 reasons why Church attendance is declining.
