Good question. No reason to keep doing it, however. You can drink and drive without repercussions time and again- until you wreck and take someone else out.

The reason to keep doing it is sales. I'm totally opposed of supporting Ukraine with money or free arms. But selling is something that gives them a fighting chance and doesn't cost us anything. It actually benefits our economy.

But what about all those soldiers you see these countries parading around in parade dress?

It doesn’t give them a fighting chance, though. Arms to bear without arms to carry them do no good.
So far as benefiting our economy, that's true... but immoral.

It won’t happen, simply because decoupling with us is not in THEIR best interest.

Have Nato troops come to fight on Ukraines side yet?

Ah, so they are buying rockets with no one willing to push a button to launch them?

Selling junk food is immoral because it makes people obese and die young.

So...exactly what it would have been before Z screwed up last week.

Does our government have a junk food store? Do the sell Govritos? Mt Rushmore Dew? Little Dem cakes?

Being aligned with Europe has cost America trillions of dollars and nothing but contempt as thanks. They can meet us on our terms or they can piss off!

One more try. You said selling the product is bad because people die. Lots of products cause death.

I have no problem supporting some. I have a problem supporting by providing most of the money and people.

No.
Europe needs real skin in the game.

As of 1 January 2025 the United Kingdom's military total of people in all branches, reserves included, and that includes anybody from typists to Gurka infantrymen is 180,780 personnel.
That includes the Navy, Royal Marines and Army. What fricking boots on the ground are they going to send?
213 main battle tanks
137 Typhoon fighter/ground attack aircraft and 33 F-35's jointly operated by the RAF and the Royal Navy.
The Royal Navy is down to 16! surface combatants total including their two new aircraft carriers, 6 destroyers 8 frigates. Their submarine force has nine total which is 5 nuke powered attack boats and 4 ballistic missile subs armed with Trident II SLBM with MIRV warheads. I'm not quite sure what their idea of heavy lifting is.

Difference is what the government is potentially selling and in what context vs what junk food peddlers are selling.
